"I have eaten at Joe’s forever being I live around the block. My little guy loves the plain pizza, my hubby enjoy grandmas slices, my dad likes their pepperoni and myself and my older son like the salad pizza. Well, not anymore. Something has changed and I called to talk to them about it. I was so curious as to why my salad pizza tasted like regular pizza with the cheese pulled off. You could not even taste the salad and it was completely gross with dressing on it. When I called, I was not calling to complain, just simply ask what’s changed and can I reorder it to be made differently? OMG what a mistake!!!! I was met with a macho rude aggressive dude. Suuuuuper Angry that I called. After telling me I must have never had a salad slice from them, he offered my money back. I just wanted to see if they can make it the old way again. I gave up because I wasn’t calling to fight!!!! Well that just sucks because I will never order from them again and have instructed my kids the same. Onto Carlos Pizza and La Famosa. Jerk!!!! "I've been dining at this restaurant since before the pandemic, so I have quite a bit of experience to share. It's a cash-only establishment with an all-you-can-eat menu featuring fresh fish. The only reason I wouldn't give it a five-star rating is that the owner doesn't always perform quality control as frequently as needed. Occasionally, this can lead to some less-than-fresh fish, particularly in the summer when shelf life can be an issue. On the upside, popular options like salmon and tuna are usually fresher since they are in constant demand, so they tend to have a quicker turnover. When I do encounter a bad batch, I always let the owner know, and he promptly offers a replacement cut, which is great since he trusts my feedback as a regular customer. The atmosphere is fairly average, but I primarily come for the food, so it doesn't bother me much. If you have a more Western palate, I highly recommend asking for spicy mayo on the side."

"FINALLY giving my honest review on this place. I have been eating here for the last 3 weeks. Just because I seen it around my area and been wondering what the food is like. The first couple of times I ordered the beef and lamb gyro. When I tell you it’s easily the best gyro I ever had!!! The moment you bite through it you can taste the juicy cuts of meat they had used. Even when I put some away and reheated for later it was still tender and juicy. No exaggeration. This time I just placed an order through Uber eats and I wanted to try the fried liver. A part of me was scared because liver is very iffy when people are preparing. But to my surprise the meat was soft and tender I could not get enough. And the lemon squeeze on top brung the flavor to another level.i am very pleased with this place. It is added on my go to spot ! Try for yourself you will not be disappointed"
