"The food here is just okay—more reminiscent of a TV dinner that’s been reheated. It lacks flavor, and there’s a desperate need for more salsa and jalapeños! It feels quite ordinary and leaves much to be desired. This is just your typical neighborhood restaurant; nothing stands out as special or unique—it’s very generic. However, the bar offers a nice selection of flavorful margaritas with fun swirls and extras! It's a bit of a drive to this centrally located restaurant, but the parking lot is always full, the service is friendly, and the place is clean!"

We are frequent visitors to this restaurant, and I can't help but give a special mention to the incredible server, Samantha at the bar. She consistently provides us with exceptional service, always going the extra mile. Be sure to stop by and let her whip up something amazing for you!

Came in Sunday and had a wonderful experience. Food was amazing! Had several orders of fajitas at the table, and all came out sizzling just like they are suppose to. This is the one restaraunt in town who doesnt overcook the fajita steak. And our server Ashley did a great job keeping on top of our needs.

We had a party of 32 and Arron our server and the Mgr handled us like a pro! Drinks and food came quick and r fills were fast! Plus they were patient with each request. Thanks from the Parker-Woollen reunion! We are here for two weeks each year and always eat dinner together. We always go to this On the Border for great food and service. View menu

My husband and I ate at this On the Border today. The food was delicious! We each got the $5 combo, which is such a fantastic deal (two enchiladas and endless rice and beans). Our server, Jessie was very good. She was new and I believe it may have even been her first shift, but she was very attentive, refilled our drinks without being asked, and was sweet.

I frequent On the Border in Hot Springs for Friday Happy Hour with co-workers/family/friends and today my husband and I had the best waiter I think they have ever had. His name is Jonathon. Very nice, attentive and just genuinely helpful. I would have to say he is the best waiter I have encountered in my visits and so much so that I asked to speak to the manager to let him know how great Jonathon was. I give Jonathon the excellent rating. :

"Overall our experience was a 5 star evening. The food was amazing, and the waiter was exceptional. The variety of menu items was great and service was fast but not in a rushed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting when we return to Hot Springs. We had two issues that made it difficult to give a 5 star overall rating. We had reservations at 6pm for 2 and were seated at a small table next to another four topper. There were two lovely booths unoccupied across from us and when asked about them were told they were being held for 7pm reservations. They offered to put us upstairs, which we did, and it was a bar atmosphere with a line of very bright lights shining above us. As mentioned, the food and wait service was amazing but it put a bit of a damper on the evening, especially since we had made reservations. At $250 for two people, it would seem a reservation would allow for a nicer table. Also, at 6pm, they were out of several of their specials which is hard to understand at such an early time on a Friday evening. There was an incredible outdoor bar area that we didn't know existed and would loved to have had a drink in before dinner. Fireplace, great atmosphere, clear plastic on outdoor walls to maintain heat but allow for an outdoor experience, all the pluses! Again, loved our evening, just would have been perfect had not these two items come up."
