"We had heard that 119 was a bit different and it was. We called in for dinner on a Tuesday evening. There were only a couple of other people in but we ended up having a long chat with everyone plus the owner and waitress. The owner and his wife are very keen on finding artisanal chefs and drinks in Mexico which inspire their cooking. I had the special of the day pieces of catfish, fried and with a salad and lime dressing. Beautifully cooking and all the flavours coming through. My friend had a burrito of beef, cheese, onion, potato which said was excellent. Main event for me though was being inducted into the delicate smokey flavours of Mezcal by the owner. Tried three, all different, all delicious and far better than the ones I have tried elsewhere on our trip. Many thanks for a memorable evening though I doubt I will find much Mezcal back in the UK!"

I need to tell you that if you find yourself in Farmville, Virginia, you absolutely have to check out one19 Tastefully Off Center. The food, service, and atmosphere are all exceptional. Food: 5/5.

Definitely ask Bill about Tequila recommendations... : )McKay Burger was great. Perfect medium rare fresh beef. Potatoes and goat cheese pancakes excellent.Burr-jitas are on point. Anything with chorizo cheese sauce is probly worth getting.Panna cotta a great finish.

Excellent food at a great price. Ambiance is nice and the owner actually comes by to ask how everything is going. We enoyed the nachos, burr-jitas and the dark chocolate mousse tonight and it was divine. Our waitress was very good too. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner View menu

Was sat down and waited 20 minutes for service. When finally being taken care we were trying to order drinks, app, and our entree due to the wait. When doing so our waiter was an older man who very quickly grew an attitude and told us to slow down. Very disrespectful horrible service, and I do not recommend.

This is truly a gem of an establishment, ranging from the excellent food to the warm and welcoming staff. This establishment is also highlighted by an elegant and sophisticated ambience that truly complements the environment as a whole.
