"Opal Divine's has always been a favorite of mine at the W. 6th and Penn Field locations, but unfortunately, those are no longer around. However, the new location has proven to be fantastic. The food, including barbacoa sliders, burgers, and a variety of brunch options, is truly excellent. I was fortunate enough to try a sample of a new soup—a wonderfully flavorful Mulligatawny—and it was incredible. That chef really knows her craft! At the table next to me, a guy who had the red bell pepper soup even called the waiter over to say it was one of the best soups he'd ever tasted. I could rave about the menu for days; I've never been disappointed. Plus, they have decent live music and a really interesting crowd from the nearby hotel."

The food is fantastic, and the cocktails are incredible. The filet is absolutely delicious, and the fish and chips are great too. I especially love the Blue Lady sliders!

Great place to grab a Texas brewed beer or top shelf Whiskey pour! The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was a very hometown feel! Staying at the hotel made this a very convenient place to eat and drink! One of the best old fashioned I've had!

Drab interior and mediocre service. Menu lacking pizzazz. Limited items to choose from. I could cook better for less at home. Won't recommend to anyone. Won't go back. Food is over priced. Restaurant was pretty much empty how are they even atoll I'm business.

I like the setup but the food just wasn't really for me. Maybe its an austin thing but I would rather eat fast food if I had to choose. However don't let that stop you from trying it cause my taste are just different. The location and service are really great. Also I loved the bar/diner setup. View menu

With this new location I sometimes forget that Opal Divine's is still around, but every time we go I am happy they still are. Their cocktails are AMAZING and the food is consistent. Service can be slow, but if you're going for a leisurely date night or to catch up with friends it's perfect for that.

We came to Opal Divine's before heading over to a ceremony and were in a rush to eat. Once we got seated, the waiter hadn't even attended us for the 15 minutes we had been sitting there. There were only 4 other tables with people; it really wasn't packed to the point that the servers could be busy. We left.

"I literally just made a review but I’m going to make another one because for whatever reason someone or somehow it got deleted. I used to be a regular at Bouldin and the service was always amazing but my last two visits have been by far horrible. The service has been so poor that I felt disgusted when leaving the restaurant. There are two girls that work there with light brown hair and blue eyes. Pretty sure one of their names is Rego. My boyfriend and I were served by her before and she seemed nothing but annoyed and couldn’t care less if we were in her section. Barley even interacted with us or asked how our meal was and just seemed disgusted by us, just being rude passive aggressive for no reason at all. I’m a server and I KNOW this isn’t how you treat your guests and the same thing happened tonight. She just seemed like she couldn’t care less if we were there and just seemed annoyed? I don’t mind paying the gratuity if I’m being treated decently but that wasn’t the case and I feel as though they feel like they think they can get away with behaving like mean girls just because there’s a gratuity. I have friends that dine here as well and they have had the same experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this needs to come across a managers attention so they know who they are hiring and how they are treating customers. Really disgusted and disappointing and if this gets deleted again I’ll write another review or just call the store to speak to a manager. Disgusted by their behavior."
