"I had eaten here years ago and forgotten about this place. Decided to head in for a meal with the fam and the food did not disappoint! Seems to be something for everyone on the menu... vegetarian and vegan options as well as chicken for us chickenatarians.Enjoyed sitting by the window looking out on Market. Today being Cinco Dr Mayo it was an extra treat watching people out there having a good time!Back to the food... I usually skip dessert but my wife insisted and so naturally I caved. The only thing the waitress couldn't provide for me was a wheelbarrow to carry me out.Did I mention they have beer? Yeah they've got that too.I got the spicy chicken tenders and broke out into a sweat... they aren't fooling around with their spice cabinet. They've got it on lock down! Definitely will be going back sooner than later this time!"

The Japanese stir fry with chicken was bland to me, and the coconut cream pie was flat and dense, not fluffy and creamy. Restaurant needs disabled accommodations to 2nd level.

We have been here 3 times in the last month and half which was our 1st time. We absolutely LOVE it here!! Parking: We try to go earlier enough to get a close spot on the street. I can't walk far and have a handicap parking sticker.

Incredible food! We dined outside on a beautiful day, and the service was excellent. We tried the spicy chicken fingers and the spicy chicken sandwich, both of which were fantastic! We even bought a bottle of the spicy sauce to take home! View menu

My second favourite restaurant in Frederick! I’ve been many times and it never disappoints! Lots of vegan options which in this country are rare and truly appreciated! If you are a tofu fan like me this is the BEST place in Maryland to have it! The place is small and casual but the food makes up for it! Always fresh and delicious. Service always friendly too and unbeatable prices.

My favorite restaurant on Market Street! Great staff, interesting menu, wholesome food, lots of great options like mocktails and vegetarian. I love the decor too, they put fresh cut flowers on the table!! I recently had my baby shower in the back room and it was wonderful and easy for 16 people. 10/10 recommend. Parking: Easy parking right across the street in church street garage. I paid $2 for almost 4 hours.

My favorite restaurant in Frederick, and possibly my overall favorite, is The Orchard. While the menu leans towards vegetarian dishes, there are plenty of options for meat lovers as well. The food is consistently fresh and delightful. Throughout all the years I've been visiting The Orchard (though I wish I could go more often), I have never had anything less than an exceptional meal. The dining area is charming, the staff is welcoming, and there is outdoor seating available. I can't recommend The Orchard highly enough! View menu

Absolutely fantastic dinner. This was my wife and I’s first time here. The atmosphere was quaint. Linda, our server, was incredible. We greatly appreciated her suggestions and her great service. She was there when we needed her but we never felt rushed. I had the jambalaya with a side of their homemade hot sauce. There was so much salmon, shrimp, scallops and chicken I couldn’t believe it! My wife had the Pad Thai which was also great!! The pita and hummus was best I’ve ever had. Obviously homemade and vegetables so fresh. 5 stars and we will be back many times I am sure!!

On a trip visiting the area and happened to find this place. Had one great meal here and immediately came back two nights later. The food is all so good. Fresh-made, quite a bit of organic, and many gluten free and vegan/vegetarian options. A great place for people following diets. But the food is delicious, lacking gluten or not. The salmon curry special was amazing. All the fresh-made daily soups were great. I had a coconut ginger soup and a white bean soup. Both terrific. The stir fry bowls were very good too. Try the mojito mocktail! Service was quick and pleasant enough. A small place and no reservations so get here early!

"It occurred to me, one night after work, that despite living in Frederick most of my life, there were tons of places I'd never eaten at yet. Tonight I chose one of those places at random and decided to treat myself to dinner since my husband was visiting family. I walked in around 9 pm and the hostess didn't bat an eye at my dining alone, and didn't say anything about it, which I appreciate. I was seated right away with no problems and immediately got a chance to look over the menu. I will admit, it took a little bit longer than expected for my waiter to come over, but as a lone diner I sort of expected that. I looked like I was waiting for someone, I'm sure. The look and feel of the place was very upscale, but they didn't have any problems with me walking in wearing a nerdy t-shirt. I was seated in this cute little booth for 2 with curtains on the side so, if I wanted a more private dinner, I could have it. It was a cute touch! The restaurant also offered patio dining and since it's by the creek, that would have been a downright charming experience were it not the usual Maryland summer. Despite having a bar, the restaurant was respectably quiet and low-key, making it an easy dining experience. I wasn't in the mood for something wild, and this place really hit the nail on the head. My first waiter Kevin, however, was the picture of polite helpfulness. He answered all of my questions, made some wonderful suggestions, and was incredibly pleasant to talk to. I was delighted to find out that this place takes part in DC restaurant week, so I was able to take part in that promotion. Under a suggestion from Kevin, I ordered a glass of their moscato (I wanted something light and sweet), and the wine was so good I brought home a whole bottle. Not really on them, but it does reflect their excellent selection. Dinner itself was delicious. The red pepper soup was refreshing and flavorful, without being too filling. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection and was flavored in the perfect way to make the actual flavor of the meat shine. The potatoes were both light and fluffy, but also had the little chunks of potato that I prefer in my mashed. The best part was desert. About halfway through my appetizer, Kevin introduced my other waiter, Maddy, who took over after he went home. She was as much of a delight as he was, and made possibly the best recommendation of the night. Desert was this blackberry tart that I did not have room for but could not put down. Gooey and crumbly all at once, with a warm center that was almost caramel-y even though it was fruit based. Topped with a light cream to balance it all out, it was absolutely delicious. I will be thinking of that tart all day tomorrow. The prices on the menu were a little high, but I wouldn't go so far to say they were unreasonable. If I had wanted a cheaper option, I could have gone to any chain restaurant ever. In the grand scheme of downtown Frederick, with it's many small businesses and one of a kind dining experiences, I think this was reasonable. For reference, a lot of meals were between $20 and $30, but a good steak is almost always $30+. Despite the price, I had an exceptional dining experience, and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for upscale dining, without the upscale requirements."
