Best sushi in Town, quiet atmosphere, great service. Very happy to find this hidden gem and will go again.

Prices keep going up and up; beer in a bottle 6mos past stated expiration date; service remains pretty consistently decent.

Best sushi I had in Virginia and also good prices. The sushi cook did an amazing job, and the rest of the staff were all very friendly. Although we did not do the Hibachi, we saw that one takes place and it seemed quite funny!

Such a great place. Great for taking a leisurely three-course lunch at the sushi buffet. Healthy tasty vegetarian hot-food options, friendly efficient considerate staff. Brainstorming at Kobe is the thing I probably miss most since quarantine started, and I really hope to get back there.

Great place for high quality food and some dinner. The chefs here are very good at commerce and I probably had more fun here than Benihanas. They played English songs and had K-pop MVs on the TVs that made for a very interesting time. I enjoyed my sushi order and the Hibachi was also great; I really liked her bath for the Veggies. Great food as you can see through the photos, servings are enormous, service is spot on, drinks are well made and generous. We have been regular customers for some time and have seen the restaurant changing hands for the better! Try them out, you will not be disappointed!! UPDATE: We went back last night and as cold as it was outside, it was wonderful to be treated as warm inside. Food and service just as fabulous.

Teppanyaki at Kobe Bonsai was really fun and delicious. Definitely come for entertainment, but stay for sushi... Well prepared selections with perfect texture and delicately spiced rice. With this place practically in our backyard, recommend visiting the Sushi Bar often. Not sure what their Shochu selection is, but if they can set up some pairing with Grandmakase, that would be an excellent addition to their food repertoire and I will be regular.

My husband and I went here an hour before closing. We were in the area and were craving sushi. We checked out what was in the area, and this place had great reviews on Customer Service and Food. So we checked it out. Let me say this was my favorite experience eating at a sushi bar. Everyone was so friendly and fast service. The food was spectacular!! They made my husband's and I experienced memorable. If we are ever in the area again, we definitely plan on coming back. I recommended getting a Sake Bomb for a drink, and for Sushi I recommend the Volcano. View menu
