"The restaurant was mobbed and was a lot of people waiting and apparently this is an issue where they over book. It wasn't enough weight staff handoff we had a 730 reservation and at that point. they were out of the special which was the prime rib, which my husband was looking forward to, and then they were also out of the steak. The food was good. I miss charged us after we told them, they fixed it. The waiter just seemed rushed and really wasn't focused. The functionality of the dining area is very odd, which makes it more crowded and not pleasant environment indoors tables of 2 and a bench and high tops everything's all over the place. "

Service is fantastic. Kyle is the best! Food is delicious and the terrace is a great spot to enjoy the atmosphere.

This was not memorable. It's definitely a hotel restaurant for Residence Inn. The only redeeming quality is proximity to the Duke Performing Arts Center across the street.

I am sure this place would be better on a day where it is not so busy. Very short staffed, poor waitress could not get to everyone. We made a res and only got one round of drinks in an hour. Our food never came out nor our second round. We left dissapointed.

Our group tried 3 or 4 menu items. All agreed the food was excellent. Atmosphere was great for 5 people to have pleasant conversation and watch the city change over from day to night. Service was excellent and access to parking and the performing arts center was outstanding. Will definitely come back here again. View menu

Both Overlook and the Terrace are small space Terrace is at the top of the Radisson, Overlook on the 2nd floor but has a view. Very attentive wait staff, everyone friendly and helpful. Menu is simple but substantial. Food is reasonably priced, well prepared and presented but wine by the bottle is not worth it . Will definitely return.

The wait staff was friendly but not coordinated. We had two different servers who did not seem to know whether/if the other was also assisting us. I had to remind the server that I had ordered wine and had to ask that our check be rung up so that we could get to the show we were in town to attend. The food was delicious and the menu had a good variety. I'll go back to enjoy the outdoor seating when the weather is warmer!

Could be a wonderful place to dine before or after a show as it is convenient to the Duke Energy Center for Performing Arts (DECPA), however it is not inviting. Lights were bright. TV's everywhere (should remove them all). Furniture was uncomfortable. Chairs not conducive for dining Several tables had dirty dishes and should have been bussed. Our reservation was not in their system which we made on Open Table. Our server brought the wrong bottle of wine View menu

We made a reservation for 6:00 on a Saturday night before a symphony concert at 8. That timing was perfect. The restaurant was very busy with large and small groups, typical for a Sat night. We did have to wait around 10 minutes before a server came to take our order. It took a little longer to get water and our drinks. We only saw 6 servers, so they were probably short staffed for a Sat night. The food was very good, though. We got one of the flatbreads each and a salad. Both were very generous portions and tasty. I will definitely visit again!

Reservation made had noted birthday celebration, it was never acknowledged and we the first customers seated 5pm. 3 other tables served before we even received our app. App was flatbread with mozzarella cherry tomatoes and balsamic glaze . Bland . Salmon cakes were OK grits were good. Ordered 1 order of vanilla ice cream the 1 order cherry Bordeaux got 2 orders of vanilla . Waitress was overseeing all tables on terrace . Indoors was packed . With 2 drinks and 1 app 2 salmon cakes and 2 ice creams the total was $120 plus tax and tip and was not worth it

"Even though this restaurant is an hour away from our home, it 's been our special occasion go to restaurant for years. We 've brought our parents here and purchased gift cards for our friends. I love the selection of creative vegan entrees, relaxed art house atmosphere, and live music. We 've always received friendly service and enjoyed our food in the past. This evening, for the first time in my life (at any restaurant), I sent back an entree. I was nearly in tears because I feel so guilty about wasting food. The replacement dish I received was even worse--what was advertised as pad thai turned out to be mushy noodles drenched in what tasted like rice vinegar, hastily topped with carrots and green beans. My husband tasted it and his face said it all. His words were borderline inedible. We were disappointed with the food, but we understand that on a busy Saturday night, mishaps with food can occur. Between us we have 30 years ' experience working in restaurants and have been confronted with many situations like this ourselves. What happened next turned our disappointment to anger: a manager came to our table with check in hand, apologized coldly, and seemed to think that comping the two meals I couldn 't eat had been a magnanimous gesture. She did offer us dessert, which I guess was a nice thought but not a substitution for dinner. I 'm giving a second star because my husband said his short ribs were very good, as was the appetizer. All said, we 're out $70 and I still haven 't had dinner. Side note: we advise purchasing bottled options if you 're a beer drinker. My husband is a professional brewer by trade and every draft beer from here has been flat and displayed off flavors. He knows what these beers are supposed to taste like, and it seems to be an issue with the draft system. Also, our entrees appeared about 5 minutes after we ordered them, which doesn 't seem like enough time for making things to order. Since writing this, it 's come to our attention that these changes are likely due to new ownership of the restaurant. The lack of hospitality combined with the lower quality food is sure to alienate their most loyal patrons, including us."
