"I had planned to go to Chinatown for dinner, but since it was my last night in town, I wanted something more exotic. I found a restaurant that offered kangaroo and camel pizzas, which I was excited to try. Located in the Castro area, known for its LGBTQ community, the restaurant was quiet with hardly any crowd. Although they were out of kangaroo pizza, I opted for ostrich and camel pizzas. I preferred the ostrich pizza, but both were delicious and filling. The total cost for both pizzas was $16. They also offer a free soda if you check-in on Yelp. While the service wasn't the friendliest, the unique food options made up for it. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant."

I'm glad they had vegan options! I tried the BBQ CHICKEN pizza and it was delicious. They have some really unique and fun slices, and the staff is very friendly. Yummy!

Oz has my favorite pizza in the city. You can fill up on a couple of their large slices with lots of interesting toppings potatoes, garlic cloves, figs, exotic meats, etc.

This pizza shop is pretty darn good. Pizza topping options are endless. You can even order camel meat as a topping. My favorites are the pesto varieties and veggie slices. Give it a try! View menu

I'm not a huge fan of pizza, but when I'm in the mood for a slice (especially late in the Castro), Oz is a great option. They offer seasonal mushroom and chorizo options for vegans. A slice costs $8.50, but they are very generous in size!

I'm not a big fan of pizza, but if you're craving a slice (and/or in the Castro late at night), Oz is a great choice. They usually offer both sausage mushroom and chorizo options for their vegan pizza. A slice costs $8.50, but they are very generous in size!

Two places I've eaten have had vegan pizza that I absolutely crave and that satsifies my desire for pizza. Oz in San Francisco and City O' City in Denver. I want more. Plus is had regular looking pizza for the kids, vegan cheese and toppings, exciting toppings, and gluten free options. View menu

I have tried vegan pizza at two restaurants, Oz in San Francisco and City O' City in Denver. I absolutely love it and it satisfies my pizza cravings. Both restaurants also offer regular pizza for children, as well as vegan cheese and toppings, unique toppings, and gluten-free options. I can't get enough of it!

I absolutely love this pizza restaurant. They are not your average pizza place; they are trailblazers and trendsetters in the pizza world. This is not just a typical family-owned pizzeria (no disrespect). It stands out as the premier choice in Pizzaville, with a sophisticated and fun atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the service is fast - I got my order in less than 5 minutes.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
