"I am disappointed with the rating of this restaurant, as it seems many people are giving 5 stars based solely on the cute decor and not on the actual quality of the food and service. Personally, I would have rated this place no higher than 3 stars. The food was mediocre at best, with the rib eye steak being just okay, canned beans, and a loaded baked potato with only 3 toppings. The service was also lacking, with a long wait to be seated and a waitress who was inattentive and unhelpful. The prices were exorbitant, with a 10oz rib eye costing a steep $26. It seems this restaurant takes advantage of its location in a small town with few dining options, and markets itself as a must-visit spot for visitors. However, I will not be returning and do not recommend this place unless you do not mind poor service, long waits, and high prices."

"On my way back to Colorado, needed a place for dinner and to watch Avalanche game, this place is a diamond in the rough. The food was as good as you could get anywhere, I had the K.C. strip and it was perfect. The service was phenomenal, Kelsey was amazing, wanted nothing. I'll make sure I'm back on my way."

"Who knew Vernon, Tx. had such an excellent dining option? I'm glad I found out. Please try the house, tomato based vinaigrette dressing. After the salad, I had to take home some of the tasty spaghetti and meat sauce. And then, there's the bread.... ?"

"what a great place to get a meal when they go through or go to Vernon. they opened early when I told them that our cunning troop would be there before the opening times and a delicious buffet awaited. we were happy to give this family-run restaurant our business. child-friendly: we had a busload of children in the ages from 12 to 17 and they all enjoyed it. parking: lots of space and, for a bus, on a quiet side street. dietary restrictions: we had a lot of religious and health restrictions and they treated them smoothly."
