"They have a small plate concept where you can order a variety of items in stages, and they serve them in smaller portions for sharing. This approach allows you to sample a wide range of flavors at reasonable prices. They also mentioned that the menu selections will change throughout the year. Everything we tried was delicious, especially the grilled oysters, the southern fried chicken, and the standout milk-braised pork, but those oysters were absolutely incredible! For my belated birthday, I received a complimentary dessert of lemon cake with blueberry purée, and while it was unlike any typical lemon cake, it was delightful and not overly sweet. It reminded me more of a lemon bread pudding, perfectly flavored. Our waiter, Jay, was fantastic too. The atmosphere is relaxing and upscale, with a lovely view—especially during sunset. And if you prefer not to dine indoors as the weather warms up, the patio will be a lovely spot to unwind with drinks and friends; it was quite lively out there last night due to the heating. I will definitely be returning!"

"This was our first visit to The Kennedy, and it will not be our last. The entire experience was excellent, from the service provided by our server, Chelsea, to the delicious food and quaint ambiance. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, which she stated was some the best she has tasted. I was a bit more adventurous with the Pork Shank. I was not at all disappointed! The meat was fall off the bone tender and well accompanied by the hoisin sauce. The sides of rice and pickled vegetables salad nicely completed the meat. Great food and an excellent dining experience."

"Really cool building. Our server Mackenzie saved the day, more about that later. Met friends there, Open Table got us in and to our table. The Brussels sprouts/kale appetizer was delicious. The cranberry pear salad was lovely. The risotto was sooo salty even my salt loving wife had to send it back. Next round was better but please don’t grab the salt shaker without tasting this dish. The Banana Crème cheesecake was simply divine! Now how Mackenzie saved the day, I must’ve covered up my wallet with my table napkin while signing the bill. When I went to the men’s room to wash my hands I realized my wallet wasn’t in my pocket. Our group had already left to the parking lot so as I walked back to the table I glimpsed our server rushing through the patio section heading to the parking lot with my wallet in hand. She caught up to my wife and friends letting them know she had my wallet which she found under the napkin clearing the table. Needless to say….THANK YOU MACKENZIE!!!"

"I ordered chicken Parmesan over fettuccine Alfredo. When I received my takeout bag, I immediately noticed how light it felt. The portion of chicken was small, especially considering the price, and it was very dry, lacking any sauce to counteract its dryness. The fettuccine was also a bit on the drier side. While everything had good flavor, I was left wanting more from the meal. There was a side of bread that seemed promising, but it came without any oil, butter, or garlic. Coupled with the dry dish, the bread was a letdown and served only as a means to fill my stomach without adding any real enjoyment. Based on this experience, I doubt I would return or recommend this restaurant to others."

"We have received many comments from folks who like this establishment, so my wife and I decided to visit it today for our first time. Our dining experience did not disappoint in the slightest. The server was patient with us as we worked to digest the full menu of burritos (Naturally! , tacos and other options. Given the name of the restaurant we decided our initial selections would be burritos. I chose the carnitas and my wife selected the beef. Both were flavorful, fresh, and fulfilling. The service was gracious and professional, and the two sauces she brought us avocado and chipotle were quite noteworthy, particularly the avocado sauce that screamed fresh. We will definitely add this to our favorite dining stops in the Burg. An added bonus is that they are opening a second location on the Eastside. The Eastside should be grateful for this new dining addition."
