"Pros: great location, friendly staff, decently timed service. Cons: our server seemed like they hadn’t tried anything, when asked if they enjoyed a certain drink or dish we got a lot of “I haven’t tried that one yet but it looks good and others seem to enjoy it” to everything we inquired about. Our drinks definitely had cheeeap liquor in them. I got their tequila sangria and was extremely disappointed in the taste. Tequila had that cheap bite to it, and it basically had a wine floater so it wasn’t really a sangria at all more like a juicy cocktail with a wine floater. My husbands drink wasn’t any better. We ordered the pretzel and cheese dip for an app and the cheese was good but not spectacular. The pretzel wasn’t bad but the texture of it was like it was heated up in a microwave very chewy. We had the intention of having dinner and everything there, but ended up leaving and going elsewhere because we felt like any other food and drink wouldn’t be good and worth the cost. Each drink and app was at or above $15 and if we would’ve know our drinks were priced that high, we would’ve sent them back. But staff was attentive and friendly. The vibe isn’t bad but definitely not what we were expecting. The restaurant feels dated and oddly laid out too, but it is clean."

The fish and chips at this restaurant are the best in town! They are never greasy and the fries are perfectly crispy.

Loved everything about this place. The food was delicious, the drinks were on point with top shelf brands and the service is outstanding. Live music can't be beat either.Food: 5/5 View menu

The food is really good. The waitresses and bartender are topnotch. It's a small place, it has an old time feeling which is nice. The deep fried strawberries were sooooooo good.Food: 5/5

Just tried going, something seemed a little off. We went in to be seated and, even though there was a table available to our left as we entered, having no reserved table sign, the hostess said there were no tables available. Plus, there were tables available outside. When my wife asked how long of a wait to be seated at a table, the hostess said she didn't know. Very odd. We left, since it seemed they were OK without our business. The hostess was not apologetic at all.

Papa’s Place was alright. The wife and I piped in for dinner tonight. I was a little out off because it’s a small place and they had live music and it was a little loud and the band wasn’t that great lol. We started out with the fried green beans which were ok, I had the pork belly and it was just ok to, the wife had the cob salad and she enjoyed it. Service was good, parking was good and ambiance was ok too. I’d go back again if I had to haha. Go check them out and have your own experience View menu

Staff was very accommodating. I primarily went to hear friends performing. The place was packed and there were no tables available. I explained why I was there and, since I was planning to stay for friends' entire gig, I was willing to wait in the breezeway until a table became available. My wait was short and was exactly where I was hoping to sit. I only ordered a couple of glasses of wine during my time there but the waitress was very attentive and friendly. I truly do enjoy going to Papa's Place when my friends, Fire and Rain, perform there.

Visited Papa's place for the first time this evening, I surprised my friend who was playing in the band Mid Life Crisis this evening. The atmosphere was fantastic, there wasn't enough seating (which isn't a bad thing) so I sat in a camping chair just outside of the gate with the band groupies. The only downfall for me is the wait staff never asked if I needed water or a drink. When I went inside to grab a shot, they didn't have Jack Honey, which is fine. The bartender compromised and made his own version with Jack and Honey, but it cost $11! ?I was visiting from Idaho, so I was a little sticker shocked..but maybe that's California prices? ??‍But, all in all, it was totally worth it to support...

"I hadn't been to Prime 13 since it opened several years ago, not for any particular reason. We visited for a Father's Day dinner celebration as it is a local steakhouse. The restaurant is beautiful, dark but relaxed ambiance. Full for a Thursday and it seemed kid friendly which we appreciated as parents-to-be. Patrons were in very relaxed summer attire so it didn't feel so fancy that you had to dress up. They only had two mocktails, tried the one with cucumber and it was very refreshing but at $10 I felt it was a bit overpriced at only $5 less than regular cocktails. They have a pretty good date night option for weeknights so we picked two small salads, one protein dish to split and one side with two (very small) desserts. We added on a starter that we probably could've done without but we wanted to try the Cajun bites. It was steak tips in salsa with chips. Good but not great. For the start of dinner our salads were okay, mine was pretty basic dinner salad I would've preferred the wedge but it's not an option with the special even though it's priced the same. Now for the tomahawk steak, this is where they wowed. It was huge!! we couldn't even finish half and VERY tasty and tender. Definitely the star of our visit; the sides were once again good but not great, for the seasonal veggies they brought out seasoned corned and we added on the hatch Mac and cheese (not spicy at all, which I was happy about) otherwise the special only comes with one side. My husband had two cocktails he said were good but he didn't seem overly impressed compared to other old fashioned's he's had. Overall we did enjoy our dinner and thought the service was good. We had them package our desserts to go. It was a chocolate mousse pie and creme brûlée. I liked my brûlée but it was a tiny portion, (not that I needed more). after all of our add ons and tip we spent several hundred dollars. I'd visit again to try other selections but for the value (minus the steak) it's not breaking into my favorite local places for a nice dinner."
