"My last visit was more enjoyable. The standout dish this time was definitely the pork chop, which was fresh and expertly seasoned. However, the rice was quite bland, and the gravy was just average. The green beans also lacked flavor and tasted like they came from a can, rather than being cooked down properly. The greens were sweet but didn’t leave a lasting impression. Additionally, the coke machine was out of order. I'm hoping for a better experience next time."

Best fried pork chop I?ve ever eaten. The catfish is AWARD WINNING. Love the staff and the lady who took my order she?s fun! I?ve been here a few times and love to come back. Truly a Soul Food destination!! ??

I went to Papa's for the first time and was very satisfied! I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, the overall value was definitely worth the price. The atmosphere was very inviting, clean and staff was very pleasant. I will definitely patronize in the near future!

I've eaten here before but Lord this time I ordered 2 fish plates and they were both horrible. The fish tasted like someone had thawed them out in hot water and fried them the potato salad was dry and unseasoned and the customer service was not that great either...I do not recommend at all View menu

To start with, the cornbread dressing is just sweet cornbread mixed with chicken broth and lacks any seasoning. The greens taste like they came straight from a can and are unseasoned, and the gravy is completely bland—just made on the side of a grilled pork chop. I won't be wasting my money here again!

My first time eatting at Pappas soul food and I can?t complain!! Everything was fresh and season just right . Best to go early , they sell out sides quick ! Everything was so good !! Update: everything was that good, I went back the next day to try the spaghetti and meatballs. Very fulfilling and delicious!
