"We visited this restaurant to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary, which we celebrated in Jamaica, and it did not disappoint! The kids tried the short ribs, I had the ox tail, and my husband opted for the curry goat. Everything was incredibly tender and bursting with flavor! I was a little let down by the jerk wings, as they were drenched in sauce and too spicy for me to enjoy. However, my husband, who loves extremely spicy food, thought they were fantastic. The service was excellent, and the staff were wonderful! We will definitely be returning!"

We absolutely love this restaurant! Although it’s a bit of a drive from our home, it’s definitely worth the trip. The oxtail and curry goat are incredible!

The oxtails was so good, I got mad at myself for not ordering 2 plates. Love it every visit. Highly recommended you try the curry goat. You won't be disappointed View menu

The best oxtails ever. I was ecstatic to discover an authentic Jamaican restaurant as all I was being told about was infused Jamaican food. I wanted the real deal. This is it. #lifesaver

Really great tasting food. Very authentic. Today I had the jerk chicken and I also ordered a veggie patty and a side of curry goat. The goat was some of the best I've ever had. Everything was delicious and the prices are fair!

I stopped by for lunch and it was absolutely fantastic. We live near Aliante, but the drive was definitely worth it. We tried the chicken patties, jerk wings, and the jerk chicken lunch plate. The only thing this place needs is a beach! We will definitely be returning.

In Las Vagas for part of my vacation and found this gem when I googled Jamaica restaurants near me. It was over 20 to get to them and when I got there it was a lot even open time yet but we sat and waited in the car for another 20 minutes and it was well worth it. The season was on point. Real authentic. Brings back memories from home in a great way. I highly recommend it if you are ever in Las Vagas. As you can see from my plate I did good with it.

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
