"Wonderful and welcoming service from Len, the freshly cooked samples he gives out are amazing, however the nature of how this food is distributed might not reflect the same quality when purchased. I would love if I could buy fresh food here rather than frozen because the fresh variants are a hundred times better!! I could eat those all day. The reality here is that this isn't a bakery or a restaurant but rather a factory store. I had a really good experience here, I rang the doorbell and Len let me in, gave me a menu to keep, and provided me with 2 whole food items for me and my mom as samples while I looked over the menu. They were long variants of the mushroom piroshki. They were so good, that fried crunchy texture was so perfect and the inside was so warm and flavorful. I ordered what they were most known for; the beef and cheese piroshki. The immediate downside is that you can only buy them frozen. I've tried many ways of reheating them. Right out of the freezer is a no-no because it won't heat evenly, the middle will be cold. But even when defrosting them they're a bit underwhelming compared to that AMAZING fresh piroshki I got as a sample. The absolute closest you can get is probably by wrapping it in foil and throwing it into an air fryer. Since these foods are frozen, you're never gonna get that perfect fried crunch back. The flavor of the meat and cheese is good but the doughiness kinda takes over; it's just very bready. I can describe the crust as sort of a donuty corndogish type taste. But like I said the quality is significantly lower from the fresh variant."

Favorite Piroski's reminds me of growing up and cutting it in half and adding a cheese

The Piroshkis are so good, I bought two dozen. And my belly enjoyed them over the last three weeks.

I go back to the Potrero street location. You could smell the fryers. Fresh and hot. I must get to their new location. View menu

The best,I wish they were closer. But I will make the trip across the bridge. They use to be in the city on Bayshore, you could walk in and get a piroshki fresh out the oven. Love this place

I highly recommend trying the deep-fried circular samples at this restaurant. The other ones don't fry as well, but it can be done with caution. The piroshki is like a savory donut and they offer flavors such as beef and mushroom, spinach and cheese, and chicken, rice, and cheese which are suitable for reform Jewish diets. Additionally, they offer free samples. View menu

I came across this restaurant while searching for breakfast this morning. Although they don't serve hot food at this location, their customer service is fantastic and their food is delicious. I tried the beef and cheese piroshki and it made a huge difference to my day! I highly recommend this place. I would share a picture, but I devoured it before writing this review.

The service at this restaurant is incredibly friendly. It is a small, family-owned business with nice people. The food has a long history, starting with Piroshkis and then adding bagel dogs. Their son later expanded the menu with more items. As a picky eater, I haven't tried much, but the bagel dogs, especially the Polish one, are the best I've had. While they may be more expensive at nearly $4 each compared to supermarket ones under $1, there is no comparison. This restaurant is a great find.
