"my first experience with sushi. has a lot of wired dinge over sushi that the fish/when item is not cooked or baked, it is a raw, etc. so, finally I have set up my own to have sushi and decided to play safely. So I ordered a philadelphia roll that is a cooked one. it was nice to try for the first time. So, obviously next question, do I try to regularly sushi as a main course lunch? should I try sushi? maybe not.We r indian, and especially bengalis. our dietary habits are so different that we cannot have sushi as lunch or dinner. Maybe we should all try sushi and have tested a few different types of taste and items."

Terrible service, clueless waitress. Food was mediocre and insulting for the price. Go to Brick Town.

very slow and quality of sushi is bad. the rice was hard, which tells me that he probably stayed from the night before. this place will not last.

Like But Long For Healthier Veggie Rolls. I love this place but sometimes find myself wishing there were more non-fried vegetable rolls. I really like the ginger salad dressing. View menu

Great food...lousy service. I love this place for their food...but the last few times we have been our waitress has been rude. When we weren't ready to order, she immediately told us we needed to hurry up because there is a lunch rush. I was blown away that someone would be so tacky. Another trip, same waitress, a soup spoon was dirty. Not only did we have to go ask her for a clean one, but she did not apologize. Nor does she say thank you when she brings us the bill.

"We ate here during the Paseo Arts Festival. We initially tried to make a reservation using Open Table, but someone from the restaurant called me a few days later to inform me that Picasso Cafe was not taking reservations during the Arts Festival. We arrived at 12:15 pm and put in our names. Our party was called just before 1:00 pm. Fortunately, we had the Arts Festival to keep us busy while we waited. I ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich. It sounded good in the menu description -- seared chicken breast, avocado slices, swiss cheese, bacon, and bourbon honey mustard. However, I ordered it without the cheese because I have been to too many places where they do not know how to melt cheese on grilled sandwiches and I don't want to be a picky customer on my second visit to a restaurant. Anyway, it was difficult to hold the sandwich together. I ended up taking the avocado slices off of it so that there was enough friction for me to hold it together and eat it. The seared chicken breast was the best part, closely followed by complimentary lettuce and tomato (crisp and cold) and the honey mustard (good mix of sweet and tangy). I ordered the napa cabbage slaw for my side dish. It was served with a light dressing so that the cabbage stood out. This is not a slaw for people who prefer not to taste the cabbage. I would like to come back and try some more things. However, if I have the chicken sandwich again, I am going to leave out both the swiss cheese and the avocado. I would also like to see if they have a wheat bun because that would pair better with this mix of flavors and textures."
