"The restaurant is located in a strip mall, which was unexpected, but once inside, we found the dining area to be clean and there was ample parking available. Our server was impressive and provided outstanding service, all while dressed in a ladybug costume! Eager to try a variety of dishes, our family ordered fried mozzarella, meatball bruschetta, and a cup of minestrone. We were immediately served warm bread with a dipping mixture of extra virgin olive oil, garlic, and parsley, which was a nice touch. The kids particularly enjoyed the mozzarella and soup. However, the meatball bruschetta was a letdown—consisting of two meatballs on two slices of bread smothered in tomato sauce. While the meatball and bread were good, we were hoping for a more inventive presentation. The kids ordered a cheese pizza, which was quite tasty, while my husband had scallops with lemon and pasta (though he expected a cream sauce, he still enjoyed it), and I opted for eggplant parmesan with fettuccine, which was delicious. We were a bit disappointed with the portion sizes; usually, we can split a meal and enjoy leftovers later, but there were none to take home, even though the food was good. For dessert, we indulged in gelato, which was thoroughly delightful. We didn’t order any drinks from the bar, yet our bill still totaled over $130. Now that I know what to expect, I would consider returning, as I really appreciated the service and the food. We arrived early on a Saturday night, and by the time we left, the restaurant was bustling and quite noisy, suggesting it’s a popular local spot."

Fantastic food, homemade bread, and great service. We've lived nearby for many years and were asking ourselves why we haven't come here sooner. We'll definitely be back

Absolutely delicious Italian food! It's a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance—neither too fancy nor too casual. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I really enjoyed my experience! View menu

The pizza is fantastic! However, I recommend avoiding any fish dishes. The smell can permeate your entire home and linger for a long time. The fish was disturbingly not fresh, and it's disappointing that they offer it during the winter months. The restaurant is too small to provide year-round fish options.

Sadly not impressed My friend ordered the minestrone soup which seemed more like carrot stew She liked her veal parm but was served at least 10 minutes before I was served my pizza with a burnt bottomed crust Hostess checked in a few times and was apologetic )which is more concern that our server showed) but didn't offer any consolation

I stopped by Pasquale's last night, as I do every Thursday, only to find a sign on the door announcing that Pasquale's in Candia is now PERMANENTLY CLOSED. The food was always good, and I enjoyed the company of the many loyal local patrons from Candia and nearby towns. Pasquale recently opened a new restaurant in Londonderry and has decided to close the Candia location after 16 years. Unfortunately, Londonderry isn't convenient for me, and I'll miss the get-togethers with the local crowd in Candia. I remain hopeful that a new restaurant will take its place in the spot where Pasquale's once was. View menu

Now, onto the negatives. If you're considering takeout, I would advise against it. I've ordered takeout from there four times, and three of those times my order has been incorrect. That’s a 75% failure rate! For example, my chicken piccata was accidentally sent as veal piccata, my broccoli alfredo was just a third of a regular portion (seriously, about four bites for $20), and the pollo pasquale came with shrimp instead of chicken. On top of that, both the second and third times I visited, I had to wait an additional 25 minutes past the promised time just to receive my food. The last time I called to report yet another mistake, I was put on hold for about seven minutes waiting for a manage...

I'll start with the good...Pasquale's makes some pretty tasty food and for a place hidden in Candia, NH that's awesome. Their gelato is pretty great and their food always seems to be just perfectly seasoned. Nothing super bland here. Now here's the bad. Takeout don't bother. I have gotten takeout here about 4 times now. 3 of those 4 times, my order was messed up. We're talking 75% of the time!!! Chicken picatta arrived as veal picatta, broccoli alfredo arrived as 1/3 of a regular meal (no joke, about 4 bites for $20), pollo pasquale arrived with shrimp and no chicken. The second and third times I went, I waited no joke 25 minutes AFTER the time they told me to wait just to receive my food. W...

"Lindy's offers around 23 delicious gourmet sandwiches priced at $6.59 each, cleverly named after famous personalities. Some fan favorites include the Tom Cruise (roast turkey and hot capicola), Al Pacino (pastrami), Bruce Willis (roast beef), Arnold Schwarzenegger (reuben), Sylvester Stallone (ham and turkey), Richard Gere (BBQ chicken), Val Kilmer (veal cutlet), John Travolta (eggplant parmesan), Julia Roberts (vegetarian), and Jimmy Stewart (Philly chicken), among others. In addition to their sandwiches, Lindy’s serves hand-cut fries, salads, soups, thin-crust pizza (available by the slice or as a whole pie), and a variety of grab-and-go items such as subs, salads, prepared meals, pasta dishes, and mac and cheese. Deli meats can also be purchased by weight. Currently, there are some great pizza specials available (as of March 2011), including a large cheese pizza for just $7.99 on Mondays and Tuesdays, and a deal where you can buy one large pizza and get $6 off the second one. I recently visited Lindy's to indulge in my favorite sandwich, the #18 Joe Pesci. This incredible sandwich features thinly sliced steak with grilled onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and American cheese on a chewy demi loaf, priced at $6.59, along with a small order of hand-cut fries for $3.29, seasoned to perfection with salt and pepper. The enticing aroma of the fries made it hard to resist, so be sure to enjoy them as soon as you can! I’m thrilled that Lindy's Gourmet Deli is back in business! I look forward to visiting again soon, as I often travel along NH Route 101 between Manchester and the Seacoast. Be sure to check it out under NH Route 101 Eats at Exit 3!"

"This full service takeout deli counter is located inside the cozy DC Mobil Station Convenience Store, just east of the center of Candia. They offer made to order hot cold subs, wraps, burgers, hot dogs, salads, nachos, soups, and thin crust pizza by the slice and breakfast sandwiches in the self serve heated display case. The prices here are fair; most subs: $5.50-$7.50, wraps: $5.75, chili dogs: $2 and steak bombs: 8 $7 10 $9. I stopped in here very recently to grab a wrap to go. I decided to order their signature wrap, which was the Country Way Wrap $5.75 plus tax). The employee behind the deli counter quickly prepared my wrap to order, but without using gloves there was a box of gloves on the prep counter in plain view). A bit unnerved, but not surprised, I could only trust her hands were washed cleaned and money was handled by another employee, which was definitely the case here since the all items are paid for at the store register across from the deli counter. As for my lunch, the Country Way Wrap was good, but a bit messy to eat, cut in half. This wrap had deli turkey slices, fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion, slices of soft mozzarella with balsamic glaze dressing and a pesto spread in a tomato basil wrap. I enjoyed the wrap with a bag of Lays chips and a Diet Coke. I would stop in here again for a Teriyaki Chicken Wrap, if I happen to be passing through Candia during the day since this deli counter is open for breakfast and lunch. 3.33 stars)"
