"I?ve been a fan of this bakery for over 5 years. IT?S A BIG NO AND WON?T COME BACK AGAIN. Never in my life have I been so disappointed in a cake so much! We ordered a simple, white and pink (abstract cake)?that was the first mistake to start off. Thecolor was splotchy, uneven coat and it just didn?t look refined. Second, the cake was dry and it would crumbled so badly. Tastewise, they didn?t do the flavor I asked for, ?strawberry shortcake? as they decided to call it. No strawberry jam or coulis. Thefresh strawberries were pale, tasteless, just barely there as well. It was more bread than anything, it taste worse than at homebox cake, if you will. Overall, it lacked sweet, presentation; everything went wrong. $100 wasted in a simple cake thatshould?ve at least could?ve take great! No more. Please, go somewhere else for your special event cake."

Always excellent and well-priced cakes and baked goods. Very friendly owners and staff. One time someone in my family had a cake mishap (had to brake to avoid a crash and the cake went flying) and they replaced it with a new cake, totally unprompted butjust out of good will.

Came in to pick up a cake for my mothers birthday and we had accidentally ordered it for the wrong day. They made our huge custom cake in less than 45 min just in time for the party and it was AMAZING. Plus everything I have ever had from here is super tasty and fresh. Love love love this place!!! The cakes and baked goods here are consistently excellent and reasonably priced. The owners and staff are exceptionally friendly. On one occasion, a member of my family had an unfortunate incident with a cake (they had to slam on the brakes to avoid a crash, and the cake went flying), but the owners replaced it with a new cake without us even asking, simply out of kindness.

Our family has ordered more than a dozen specialty cakes from Passion Bakery over the past ~5 or so years. We've always been satisfied with their products, but the past three months have been consistently disappointing. Given the high price of their baked goods (2-3 times more expensive than Teeter or Giant custom cakes), we felt like we had to post a review after three failed purchases. I've been a fan of this bakery for over five years, but after my most recent experience, it's a definite no for me, and I won't be coming back. I've never been so disappointed in a cake! We ordered a simple white and pink abstract cake, and that was where we went wrong. The color was splotchy and uneven, lacking any sort of refinement. On top of that, the cake was dry and crumbled apart easily. As for the flavor, they didn't deliver what I requested; they decided to call it "strawberry shortcake," but it wasn't what I had in mind at all.
