"Possibly my worst experience I’ve had at any restaurant ever. Went in with the expecting good food and amazing service like the rest of the reviews here. The food was not only undercooked and under seasoned but the staff gossip with slurs in their language (Spanish) which doesn’t encourage anyone to ask for help or to bring attention to anything that may be wrong. They spend most of their time talking and rarely checking on us. Food was absolutely disappointing. Pasta was undercooked and the tor … – show"

Fantastic, extremely tasty Italian food! Generous portions and plenty of seating both inside and out.

Food was delicious. We had a time crunch and the staff not only accommodated that but we're also courteous and friendly. It was a lovely atmosphere and the experience was wonderful. View menu

I had been on a streak of bad restaurant visits but this broke it. Absolutely fantastic pasta in a traditional white table cloth setting. The restaurant is warm and inviting, and so were the staff. Pretty extensive wine list. Menu is a little dairy focused for my taste. Pricing is fair especially for the area. Would definitely come back.

Charming decor but average uninteresting food, a weird and cagey manager/owner (the guy seems afraid of people), and unfriendly (no charm) robot servers. The only good thing was the shrimp appetizer. Although everyone in my party lives in the area, we felt this place is totally out of touch with the cool friendly vibe and quality innovative menu of the restaurants in the neighborhood.

A drink is need for the wait of freshly made food with love. Took about 15 — 20 minutes but was well worth the wait. Top to bottom: Eggplant Parmigiana with a chicken cutlet 5/5 eggplant was juicy and firm cooked evenly. Chicken cutlet- crunchy, juicy and light Sautéed Brussel Sprouts 5/5 perfectly seasoned Lasagna- Delicious, melt in your mouth, saucey Table service was a 4.5/5 Bread — fresh at first then came out colder the second round View menu

This place has extraordinarily terrible service, including a rude, bizarrely annoyed-seeming waiter, an unfriendly, (again) bizarrely cagey manager, and a gobsmackingly unkind owner. As for the food, it is barely passable. Context: I am a born-and-raised Manhattanite who has been going to Manhattan-based Italian restaurants (fantastic ones) for over 40 years. I've never experienced something like this place. A word to the Azzollinis: Learn from wonderful restaurants (like Lusardi's, Due, Can … – show

Very mediocre, definitely overpriced. Bland food, Frank's Trattoria is a much cheaper neighborhood Italian joint and more flavorful to boot. Even the bread was bad, a notch above toasted Wonderbread. Dishes that should be delicious based on their ingredients and price. The service was nothing special, and that's probably generous. The staff we interacted with had zero personality—didn't ask how we were or if we needed more wine when we finished our glasses or anything. Wine was also very overpri … – show
