"I knew it was going well, but I didn't expect to go with such an impression. I have dined in other restaurants in the city centre with similar decadent and expensive dishes, but Péché has all these experiences from the water. They serve some really great French dishes, wine and drinks. Overall, this is the best meal I had since I arrived in Austin in 2017. Your Happy Hour offers half-off menu items marked with a star. Ethan was our friendly host, waiter and sommelier. He proposed a sauterne wine perfectly paired with its delicious foie gras and otherwise unforgettable first-class service for the whole meal. The absinthe Chartreuse I ordered, Golden Fairy (absinthe, manufacturer, honey, lemon) was delicious and refreshing. As for food, the Eskargot and the duck (and this cabbage) are the best I had; while I enjoyed everything very much, these were the two disputes by far. At the time, any duck confit and escargot I eat elsewhere is compared with Péché's versions as my gold standard. From food to wine and beverage selection to service and ambience, bravo everywhere. I love this place and I planned to return with more friends in a few weeks. It can definitely meet your wallet, especially eat and drink as we, but it's worth it. Merci beaucoup, Péché."

The drinks were fire, the appetizers were lovely but we both got the specials for entrees and they both feel flat for us...we will stick to the main menu and back back soon! Loved the ambience and friendly server DJ!!

Tried Péché for the first time a few nights ago and WOW I would highly recommend the steak tartars (my absolute favorite), mushroom fritter, and the rabbit pasta! This place is also Austin's first Absinthe Bar offers a wide selection of pre-prohibition cocktails, so definitely be sure to grab one! Can't wait to come back!

Worst experience here mainly because I got food poisoning and ended up in the ER that night. The food itself was actually very good I won't lie and the service as well, the waiter was constantly checking on us but I wouldn't recommend ordering snails because they are what gave me food poisoning that night. Play it safe with the duck or mac and cheese.

This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Austin. They serve the best mac and cheese and French onion soup. My favorite drink is the pink moon, but Austin, the bartender, makes an amazing mojito as well. On my birthday, the chef came by while I was looking over the menu and took the time to explain the process and ingredients. It was such an incredible experience! View menu

This is my favorite place in Austin. Her mules are made clear with fresh ginger and fresh limes. Her French onion soup was amazing and her Mac and cheese were even better! I love they don't have TVs. You're here to enjoy a bar, talk to the people you're here with and have a great time. The bartenders are all great and they are always busy with great service. It's dark and I like the vibe!

Aside from the poor table placement, odd waitstaff attire okay service, the food was very underwhelming. Is this a true French restaurant? The beet salad was like zucchini noodles and very difficult to eat. The tuna tartine was extremely salted. Duck confit was similar to a dry duck you would find at a Chinatown at 2 am and the bouillabaisse lacked saffron. Also, the bread came with a funky sauce on top that resembled cheese whiz. The only saving grace was their cocktails ambiance.

I like this place for the vibes lowkey, cozy. It is not pitch black but rather moderately lit. Being here feels like escaping from a cold winter night (not a thing in Austin) and you are cozied up inside drinking and dining on comfort food. The noise level is just right, not too rowdy but not eerily quiet. They have lots of cocktails options, I had the Poolside and really like it. My friend had a toki highball and enjoy it too, they are very refreshing.Cheese plate was okay but looks kinda sad, I would rather them charge more and give a full looking one than this half hearted attempt. And $19 is not cheap either so I expect more. Staffs were wonderful, very friendly and attentive. I have bee... View menu

Definitely a place good for some drinks and appetizer! This place looks really classic and the atmosphere is quite romantic. It honestly reminds me of nyc and some old bars. A huge cocktail list to choose from and they have mocktail. If you feel s bit adventurous you can tell the bar tender your general feeling and they can surprise you with something new. I ordered their their winter special on the menu which is a duck dish. It has duck leg and a lot of purple cabbage. Delicious but the Amount of cabbage is a bit underwhelming. They have tons of appetizer, and I have to say it's definitely a place where people come for happy hour and then pop out for other activities. The restaurant was rea...

My girlfriend and I stopped in here to try out the happy hour burger that I have heard only good things about. From the start of the service was absolutely fantastic and the vibe in here was very nice.Happy hour runs from 4 to 7 Tuesday to Friday and is half off all the items on the menu marked with a star. This meant the burger was $10.50, which was a fantastic deal. The mac cheese was also have price which brought it down to $9.The food was great, and I have absolutely no complaint. The server really was authentic and enthusiastic about the food here and you could tell he really knew his stuff. All in all everything was fantastic. The only reason I left a four-star was when we were pretty d...

"I literally just made a review but I’m going to make another one because for whatever reason someone or somehow it got deleted. I used to be a regular at Bouldin and the service was always amazing but my last two visits have been by far horrible. The service has been so poor that I felt disgusted when leaving the restaurant. There are two girls that work there with light brown hair and blue eyes. Pretty sure one of their names is Rego. My boyfriend and I were served by her before and she seemed nothing but annoyed and couldn’t care less if we were in her section. Barley even interacted with us or asked how our meal was and just seemed disgusted by us, just being rude passive aggressive for no reason at all. I’m a server and I KNOW this isn’t how you treat your guests and the same thing happened tonight. She just seemed like she couldn’t care less if we were there and just seemed annoyed? I don’t mind paying the gratuity if I’m being treated decently but that wasn’t the case and I feel as though they feel like they think they can get away with behaving like mean girls just because there’s a gratuity. I have friends that dine here as well and they have had the same experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this needs to come across a managers attention so they know who they are hiring and how they are treating customers. Really disgusted and disappointing and if this gets deleted again I’ll write another review or just call the store to speak to a manager. Disgusted by their behavior."
