"The food at this restaurant was delicious, and despite being very busy and short-staffed, the two early morning cooks were friendly and delightful. They informed us of a short wait time, but seeing how happy other customers were, we decided to stay. The menu surprised us with a QR code, but we were pleased with the service, food, and cleanliness on both Saturday and Sunday before Halloween. One of the cooks even paid for our meal, showing us that kindness goes a long way. We returned on Sunday for another fantastic experience and will be recommending Penny's Diner to our friends. The AM crew deserves kudos for their exceptional service and great food. We will definitely be returning in the future. Great job, Penny's Diner staff!"

Great small town diner, everyone knew everyone and they were all very patient with how hard the staff was working. Honestly kinda horrible experience. You guys need more than one person on a weekend night. He had been slammed so a lot of tables were dirty... What really ticked me off is that I told him there was was a hair on one of our plates and I let him know privately yet still couldn't manage to take the meal off of the ticket, no discount, nothing. Our burgers were overcooked and he put cheese on a sandwich we asked no cheese for. Also quite expensive if you ask me and prices aren't even on their menus so be careful because what should have probably been like $50 turned into $70 real quick. I understand inflation but dang.
