"I was excited when this restaurant opened in our neighborhood, as Decatur doesn't have a lot of dining options beyond fast food. It's situated near a gas station that I don't particularly like, to be honest. Just be aware. I went in one afternoon to get lunch for myself, my boyfriend, and our youngest child. The chicken was good. We ordered some grilled chicken and some chicken in a bowl. I added the white jerk sauce to mine, and my boyfriend got the salmon. The flavors were pretty good, but we felt that the bowls needed more sauce, as otherwise it just felt like rice and chicken. The main reason I haven't gone back since is because of a few things. Firstly, the salad inside the bowl seemed unnecessary to me, as it was just a few items from a salad bar tossed in. It would have been better to offer a side salad. Secondly, some of the staff seemed unfamiliar with what was going on. Lastly, the prices are quite high for the portion sizes. It's not worth it unless I'm feeling lazy and don't want to cook, as it essentially just comes down to chicken and rice, as I mentioned. I'm giving it stars based solely on the taste."

I have visited this restaurant twice and I absolutely love it. The first time I tried the lamb chops and they were perfect - juicy and delicious. The second time I had a chicken sandwich and a jerk chicken sandwich, both were incredibly flavorful and amazing.

Hmm, this restaurant did not provide a traditional experience. They used pickles instead of cucumbers on my grilled kebab plate. The sauce was unusual, considering I was expecting tahini or something similar. The restaurant appeared clean and the fact that they were actually cooking is a positive aspect. View menu

The jerk chicken bowl at this restaurant is not good. The quality is top-notch and is accompanied by excellent customer service. I returned for a second day and was greeted by the friendly staff. The following day, I ordered an extra plate for myself and one for my friend who recommended this place to me. You can call me Dee Peri from now on.

This is such a surprise in an area with very little non fried food options..It’s soooo good. So far I’ve had the lamb burger which was amazing and the jerk chicken bowl that is everything!!! The owner is so nice it makes you wanna support the business. It’s very clean inside which is a plus. They also have lamb chops and grilled chicken wings.
