"A large group went to La Tequileria for dinner and a tequila tasting. The tequila that was served was unbelievable. The selection, the presentation and the service were all top notch. The food (especially the ceviche tostada and the tacos) was unbelievable. The atmosphere was fantastic .... and there's live music as well. Overall a perfect night. Thanks to our server, Lexi, and the host, David, for a great evening. A great find in the Western suburbs of Chicago!! "This restaurant is undoubtedly the best in the near west suburbs. The food showcases a diverse Mediterranean flair, featuring tapas and mezze appetizers, bread served in charming Spanish tuna tins, and beautifully prepared entrees that are bursting with flavor. On the night I visited, I had the steak frites, and they generously seasoned those delicious potatoes with salt. The crispy pork belly is a must-try, and don't overlook the desserts either. The menu changes frequently, so it's worth coming back often. The atmosphere was vibrant, with a diverse mix of diners, and it has a welcoming, family-friendly vibe while still feeling upscale without any pretentiousness. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, showing a genuine passion for their work."

"I have always loved the Chew Chew but have been sequestering myself in my home and in my office for the most part. I've only once had dinner out since May, and then at someone's invitation. A friend who lives in the northern suburbs met me at my home and we had a wonderful dinner at the Chew Chew. She is a cook (not professionally) and raved about the food, not to mention the service. The noise level was what you would expect in any good dinner restaurant, not quiet, but not loud enough to interfere at all in our conversation. The wait person we had was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We had the Duck Potstickers which were amazing. I've had pot stickers in China and Singapore and lots in the US and they were perfect. Did I say they were perfect? And of course Scott is the perfect host. If you are considering the Chew Chew, don't consider it. Just do it"

"We 've been ordering from Starship for many, many years and it is our go-to joint for sandwiches. They are absolutely outstanding both in taste and value. The 1/2 sandwiches are ENORMOUS and are enough for 2 meals. The house chips are always crispy and the seasoned fries are also delicious if thats your jam. We have never had a bad meal from Starship! Service: Take out"

"This is the third tapas restaurant we have visited in Chicagoland and it is so far the best. The restaurant has a standard menu and a large daily special menu to keep things interesting. We ordered four tapas plates, two from the standard menu and two from the daily menu. We also ordered a single serving of seafood paella along with two desserts and a few drinks. Menu prices ranged quite widely but expect the bill to be between $100-175 for two depending on drink orders. Everything was very good. If we are going to be picky the beef was slightly under seasoned as was the fish in the paella. The patio was lovely as was the interior seating. The service was fantastic. The waiter was quick to offer recommendations and explained the menu and portion sizes."
