"BEWARE of THE CHAIR!! I was pulling the chair up and the Top of chair wasn’t attached the the metal and it Hurt my finger. I have a bruise on my nail. All the worker had to say was, “that’s too BAD.” Plus, I had to ask for Ice to ease the pain. It was embarrassing since I was meeting a friend for dinner. The staff seemed bad for it but didn’t even know what to do other than stare. I don’t know why they have a chair that can hurt anyone on the floor!! I know it’s up to every managers discretion, but they should have offered a discount for my suffering. I paid over $60 for 2 adult meals and a baby Pho. Other than that they are nice people. I been here several times, but beware of the chairs. This affected my future experience with this restaurant unfortunately.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available"

All we could order was spring rolls, which were very good, because the chef didn't show up. The staff was very apologetic. My brother eats here often and loves it.Food: 4/5

We had the pho with oxtail and brisket. I thought I could taste allspice in the broth. It was delicious. We were very hungry and ate every bit. Next time I'm in Phoenix, I'll be back! Service was a little slow, but they were busy too.Food: 5/5 View menu

This restaurant serves the best pho I've ever had! Each dish I've sampled is packed with delicious flavors. The staff is friendly and welcoming, even if there is a bit of a wait. It's absolutely worth it – I've had pho at other places, but nothing can compare to the incredible taste here! Food: 5/5

Went in with not much expectation and was pleasantly surprised with the taste. The ribs seemed chewy so I wanted opt out to something traditional like rare steak and brisket but my party recommended going with one rib and the other half brisket. We made the right choice. The balance of the thick ribs and sliced brisket was just right. As for the service and vibe, it was okay for a pho joint. Highly recommend if you’re in Phoenix.

I visited this restaurant for the first time in my search for a good Vietnamese place since moving here from California. The signature pho was tasty, with a nice balance of flavors. However, I found the amount of meat to be lacking, and the vegetable side dish only came with a single sprig of Thai basil, which was disappointing. I've attached a photo of my empty bowl, and I still felt only half full afterward. I would recommend this spot for those with a smaller appetite who are looking for decent Vietnamese food. As a bit of a pho enthusiast who tries every spot I come across, I have to say that this place in the North Phoenix-Glendale area is the best I've discovered. They always get my to-go orders right, which is a big plus. The pho includes some deliciously meaty beef ribs, and I think their broth is just perfect. The noodles are always cooked well and never rubbery. Plus, the prices are really reasonable—lower than many other places for sure. And I have to mention the young man at the counter; he is truly wonderful—so polite and professional!

Went with a group of 8. They sat us and after a good while they came with our waters and by then we were ready to order. We ordered and the waiter had to come back and ask us again what we ordered and how much people ordered the same drinks. When we got our food and he brought way more than what we ordered. I asked 3 different people about 10mins apart to refill my water and they finally refilled my water. Our waiter didn't really check up on us. The food was good tho but definitely not worth the experience and wait.Kid-friendliness: They had about 3 things on their kid menus but they did have one.

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
