"I have been dining at this restaurant since 2001, when I used to meet my mom here for lunch. Back then, I was a fan of their pork chops over rice and would order it almost every time. However, now, 21 years later, my go-to dish is the combination rice noodles beef soup always no. 1... always in an extra-large bowl. While their meats may not always be top quality compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in Chinatown, it's their broth that keeps me coming back. It's superb, especially on a cold day. When dining with friends, we usually also order the spring rolls and calamari to share. Today, I stopped by alone for an "early dinner" before meeting friends for a later dinner. Despite the early hour, I couldn't resist ordering Vietnamese coffee, even though it may keep me up late. The restaurant has implemented Covid measures such as checking vaccine cards at the entrance, providing hand sanitizers at every table, and ensuring adequate spacing between tables. The service was excellent as always. Overall, it was an excellent meal that hit the spot on a cold evening."

The food here is amazing! My Vietnamese friends have told me that the Pho is one of the best in the city. The soup is perfectly balanced and all the other dishes are fantastic too. I highly recommend this restaurant!

classic Vietnamese pho restaurant. do not try to be raised or failed. has all classics, and now they take debit and credit cards with $15 minimum. flavor is missing a bit, but still delicious. fresh sweet, strong coffee, didn't have to wait long for eating or drinks. View menu

Loved this place! The food prices are very affordable and the portions are generous. The staff are kind and efficient. The takeout are well packed so you won’t worry about spillage since they have a lot of soups on their menu.I bought the #28 and thoroughly enjoyed it.I am yet to try out their pho but I am sure that will be great too as I noticed a lot of the people dining in ordered that.

They have raised the prices by A LOT. I understand that every other Vietnamese restaurants have also raised their prices, but I know Pho Bang's pho's are still $2-3 higher than other restaurants' and their sandwiches are $1-3 higher. A small bowl is $11.50 now in 2022. And their Vietnamese coffee is $6 now when every other place is charging $4.50. The broth of their pho is pretty bland. The service is good though.

the first time I ate here. my man ordered a lemongrass pig dog and I ordered a regular pho. the rice goes with boar is a fried rice in Chinese style (not with a white rice, but I guess they can let them know if they want white rice) and my man likes it. I would rate my man court 8/10. in another hand my pho is not too bad or too good. especially I am disappointed at the broth. I tried pho in many Vietnamese restaurants in new york and that is not the special or the unforgettable, so I would rate it 5.5/10 of service is in order, they don't let them wait so long until eating and the table and utensils look clean and decent. I've been eyeing this restaurant for a while now and finally- I made my way downtown walking fast-Now this is some of the best, fresh, flavorful pho I've ever had. I walked in and saw a packed yet calm atmosphere, lots of slurping and chatter going on which is always a treat. I was greeted and directed to a table immediately. The beef pho #12 is classic pho! Very solid in flavor, meat was cut thinly and the noodles were classic. The spring rolls were also typical Vietnamese shrimp rolls and everything was so fresh and prepared neatly. It was excellent with the sauce! That being said, nothing was disappointing not even the service. I'll definitely be back ?

This restaurant in Chinatown has been serving the best Pho in New York for over 10 years. Their signature dish is the Firehead Pho. Every item on the menu is delicious and the prices are very affordable. It's a cash-only establishment, but the high quality food and great value make it worth it. We tried a variety of dishes including beef noodle soup, curry chicken, spicy and sour soup, Vietnamese spring rolls, and more. The portions were generous and we left feeling satisfied. As a Pho enthusiast, I appreciated that the soup was not too salty and the noodles were flavorful. The combination options, like the omosa, were a nice touch. I highly recommend this place for a great meal at a reasona...
