"I ordered 2 dishes: BBQ Pork Chow Mein and Cherry Pork. The chow mein was just ok. I ate it all. The Cherry Pork was the worst I’ve ever purchased. I ate three bites and left the rest when I left. It wasn’t even close. Waitress was nice. Reception was cold and unfriendly. Not much to recommend here. I’ll keep looking for a top notch local Chinese restaurant. I lived in SF for fifty years. I think I’ve got my work cut out for me."

"I went to the restaurant for a promotional offer and it was very busy. The line to place an order was long, and the line to pick up food was almost as long. The staff behind the counter worked efficiently and seemed to be in sync as they served customers. The customers on my side of the counter were surprisingly well-behaved considering the noisy environment. An employee near the door handed out coupons and engaged in friendly conversation, while another staff member entertained guests with magic tricks and collected donations. The barista took the time to explain the menu item "The Black Tie" to me and helped me choose a dessert. I paid, left a tip, and then waited for my drink. My order was ready quickly and my name was called out. The drink was great, the cookie was delicious, and the service was excellent. Well done, Vaca Peet's! Great job!"

"I came past this place a few times in the last few years, but I just made it. I ordered two ice spoons: green tea and Mocha Royal, this is coffee and chocolate chips. The part was humble, and it came with two chocolate cookies. The green tea tastes like nothing. Whatever they added to make the color green, it is not tea. Maybe there are green tea in the ingredients, but the food coloring made it green, certainly not the tea. The green tea ice cream also has a pulverulent texture that I could feel with every spoon on my tongue. This residue could be the powdered green tea leaves. If this is the case, it really needs bad quality green tea or expired (old) green tea pannings (dust). The Mocha Royal has a much better texture and smoother, but the chocolate chips were very bad quality that I spit on them. The atmosphere was more of a diner atmosphere with groups of birthday parties. They often sing happy birthday. They also cook food in the same open space. So if you're there to eat ice cream, expect to smell hamburgers and burning oil. I love ice cream. Would I go back there? Probably not."

"The Clay Oven is a hidden gem in Vacaville that exceeded my expectations. Located in the same parking lot as a Motel 6, this unassuming Indian restaurant surprised me with its delicious food and attentive service. I dined on the peaceful patio on a rainy Friday evening, which had outdoor fire lamps for warmth and soft Indian music playing in the background. I started with a thick and creamy mango lassi and enjoyed a flavorful chicken curry that looked more like masala. The garlic naan bread, baked in a tandoor oven, was buttery and hot. Although the service started off a bit shaky, the staff was kind and eager to please. The authentic cooking techniques and flavors, along with the calm and refined ambience, make The Clay Oven a must-visit for exceptional Indian cuisine in Vacaville. It's a hidden gem worth discovering again and again."
