"It was our first time at Pigeonhole, and we decided to celebrate my wife’s birthday there. I wasn’t sure what to expect based on its unassuming exterior—my sister mentioned it looked a bit dated, so I was keeping my expectations low. But peeking through the windows, I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy ambiance and charming decor. It definitely didn’t feel dated to me! When we walked in, we only had to wait a couple of minutes before someone welcomed us and got us checked in. We were seated right by the turntable, where they play vinyl records. At first, I thought the music was a bit loud, but once they switched to a more mellow band, it was perfect. Our server quickly brought us some drinks—I had a ginger mocktail that was surprisingly good. I didn’t feel like I was missing out at all by skipping the alcohol. For dinner, we ordered: •Starter: Scallop crudo and Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog. •Main: Half chicken schnitzel. •Side: Fries. •Dessert: Maple cake with poached prunes. Each dish was brought to us by someone who seemed like they might be the chef or part of the kitchen team. It was a fantastic touch, as they explained each dish and made the whole experience feel special. The scallops were refreshing and well-balanced. Nathan’s hot dog was fun—it looked like a hot dog emoji and tasted like an elevated version of a classic dog (strangely enough, it reminded me of the Jolly Hotdog from Jollibee). The half schnitzel had a generous serving, definitely worth the price. The skin, which I think was made with sourdough breading, was absolutely delicious and will definitely draw us back. The fries were perfectly seasoned, and the mayo aioli dip was so flavorful. We were pretty full by the end, but we had to try dessert, and we were glad we did—it was delicious! Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back!"

An outstanding atmosphere where the staff make you feel at home. I’ve never had a bad meal, nor have I ever had a bad interaction with staff. My wife and I frequent here all the time and are always blown away by the quality of food and the quality of the staff.
