"Very solid little country restaurant. The wait staff were very nice and attentive. We ordered the Wednesday special and the chicken fell apart was so tender and moist. The stuffing was just like mom used to make. The mashed potatoes are a decentside. The side was good but really needed to be put in a bigger bowl as the salad was over flowing. I got the chicken dumplingsoup and it was to die for. The dinner rolls are massive, fresh, and paired with the grasslands butter slices, trulydelicious. The desert bar is a whole different beast to conquer. The lady that served me could have been friendlier but it wasjust after the lunch rush and she was likely tired and stressed out. All of the deserts are massive and very reasonably priced,I would even go as far as say too cheap! We ended up getting a massive cookie and brownie and it only cost $4!"

Good house style cooking at a fair price. Come here every time I'm in Watertown.

It's mostly meat, and it's pretty fat. Otherwise it was a nice place to take a bite.

Guy at the store was nice and very curtious…also GREAT showers. Pressure is great but I would change the shower heads, a bit aching due to no shower head but all in all GREAT PLACE and the food at the restaurant AMAZING

So delicious! We always make this our travel stop there and back! Great service, quick too, delicious foods and ginormous desserts to take to go for a special treat later or a surprise as a food gift for that someone special! View menu

The best food!! Real steak in the country fried steak, not chopped steak. Plenty of gravy, eggs and hashbrowns done perfectly. Going back as often as I can. Don't even get me started on the bakery, grabbed the eclairs, the size of your forearm, and hugeelephant ears that were amazing!

I ordered a chicken fried steak. It was very though. The gravy was decent. Mashed potatoes were yummy. My chicken dumpling soup was good. My friend order a patty melt and had to pay extra for onions.....what restaurant has a patty melt and no onions??There wasn't much cheese on the sandwich either. The service was decent.

I have been coming to this restaurant since high school and always order the Eggs Benedict. The hash browns here are my all-time favorite of anywhere I have ever been. Maybe it's because I have eaten it so many times that it has become comfort food for me, but I love it. I also have to mention that the huge eclairs are awesome. I always take something home from the bakery as well. View menu

Traditional Greasy Spoon. The servers here always smile and the food is exactly what your belly longs for a long night. Lunch and dinner is also good. Your dinner rolls are THE GREATEST!!! Always soft, warm and tasty. Good coffee. There is usually a place to sit in the trucker area from left side, the dining area is usually busy and you will usually wait in line for about 15 minutes on a Saturday or Sunday morning. A Sunday book for my husband and me.

The food at this restaurant is of good quality and reasonably priced. My girlfriend has been recommending this place to me for a while, so when we finally went to the mall, we decided to dine here. I was pleasantly surprised by the chicken fried steak I ordered, as it was a real steak and not the processed kind you often find at other places. The eggs, hashbrowns, and toast were all cooked well, and the whole meal only cost me $8.50 while my girlfriend's meal was $5.50. It's rare to find a satisfying meal for under $15 these days. The bakery section had a variety of oversized baked goods at affordable prices. I purchased two large biscuits for a dollar, and my girlfriend enjoyed a cream puff...
