"You can’t beat the Pingala Cafe for pure vibe. From the view of the Winooski river falls with its juxtaposed gentrified factories and bubble lettered graffiti (the best seat in the house is the one in front of this view and behind the triangular table you must squeeze past to reach), to the interior pics of guitar legends Prince and Hendrix and colorfully eclectic walls (a reflection of the colorfully eclectic menu). For my Sunday morning starter I default to the Dirty Chai smoothie with its invigorating shot of cinnamon. And though I’ve tried multiple menu items over several visits, all delicious, at this point I’d have to say my favorite meal is the Buddha Boi—a savory melange of warm roasted carrots and broccoli, pickled veggies, full bodied brown rice, and greens all slathered (featured in much of its fare, slathering is something Pingala does best) in an amazingly tasty peanut sauce. Not only is this some of the most original and flavorful food in the state, but it’s also totally vegan. The Pingala vibe, from climate to cuisine, will knock your socks off."

This place was killer! Had the crunch wrap, “hotdog” and the tater tots. So good. Fun atmosphere. Go!

I would highly recommend this place over and over again if I could. During my brief visit to Vermont, I had the pleasure of dining at Pingala Cafe three times. View menu

Pingala is the best for vegans and anyone looking for a delicious and filling meal. Everything on the menu is fantastic, and they have really exciting specials.

I was happy to find an all vegan restaurant with creative options. The banh mi dawg was good (although I was not expecting the carrot flavor), as well as the spring rolls. The portions were pretty small for the price.

everything is vegan and everything is delicious. I have the avocado and carrot bacon vanillaburger as well as a peanut butter cookie. both were great, though a little pricy. the sitting area in the free is very pleasant View menu

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Whenever someone asks me for my favorite restaurant, I always recommend Pingala Cafe in Vermont. I am looking forward to visiting again soon.

This is THE vegan spot in BTV/Winooski (in Vermont, for that matter). Great and creative vegan food, good prices, and friendly staff. Can get very busy, so plan accordingly. Rooster Wrap and breakfast sandwich are the two best things on the menu, in my opinion (with the BuddhaBoy right behind them).

"The Park has become one of our favorite spots for breakfast. They offer a wide menu featuring classic southern-style breakfast options and lunch diner fare. Our go-to choice is the breakfast special which includes two eggs, sausage, bacon, choice of grits or hash browns, and either pancakes or a waffle for around $5. Unlike many other diners, the eggs here are not greasy. Our review is based solely on breakfast as we have not tried their lunch menu. The standout feature of The Park is the exceptional service. The staff is incredibly friendly, engaging in conversation and ensuring that coffee, tea, and water are always topped up. They regularly check in to ensure everything is to your liking and always wear a smile. It's a delight to dine here. Saturday mornings at The Park are something we eagerly anticipate. While the restaurant is often busy, it doesn't usually take long to be seated. We frequently bring our young daughter along, and the servers are always kind and attentive to her. They love when she draws them pictures and engage with her warmly. While the food may not be the absolute best we've ever had, and there aren't any standout unique dishes on the menu, the focus is on serving tasty and fresh diner fare that is always served piping hot. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable, but it's the friendly service that truly sets The Park apart."
