The food was fresh, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was bright and clean. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

Great little spot in downtown Madera. It's not fancy inside, but the food is tasty. If you're looking for something other than tacos, check it out! I recommend the Beef Shawarma Plate Chicken Wrap.

The portion sizes are just right, and they don't hold back on the meat. The flavors of the food are fantastic – you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. You won't be disappointed! The service was quick and very attentive. This place is a must-try! Food rating: 5/5.

I thought I had already had a favorite Mediterranean restaurant before I entered the Pita House but then I tried their menu and won't ever go anywhere else! The restaurant is welcoming and staff is very attentive and friendly! The food is amazing!!! So glad we have this in our town!

We dropped in on a rainy afternoon, hungry and slightly wet. We were delighted with the meals we ordered. Very tasty and great looking plates. It wasn't long and we were eating or delicious meals. Warm and getting filled. Owner was very friendly and helpful with our orders. I would definitely go back and try another plate from him and his staff. American and Mediterranean meals! Look, the food is GREAT! I have been going here for a few years now. The salmon plate is delicious and plentiful. They have kids bowls as well that are good. When kids will eat the rice pilaf and chicken bowls you know it is good. The owner is cordial and helpful in helping you chose your menu items. The place is clean, even the bathrooms are well maintained which is rare even for some large chain name brand places. Go and see for yourself you won't be disappointed.

We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, but we noticed that two tables that were seated after us received their pita and sauce plates before their meals. Unfortunately, we were not given anything to start with. In fact, the table that was seated after us received their food before we did. By the time our wraps arrived, they were cold, although the accompanying soup was tasty. We ordered a Coke, but it wasn't acknowledged until we received the bill. I apologize for any negativity in this feedback.

I came to the Pita House due to the yelp reviews. Upon arrival I was greeted by a nice young lady. I ordered a gyro plate which consisted of gyro meat, rice, hummus, tziki sauce and a pita bread. I also ordered a Diet Coke. Well let's start out the Diet Coke was horrible. Had an off taste. The food came out pretty fast. Time to eat. As you can see from the picture, there was a lot of food. I first tried the rice. How do I say this.....the rice was a total miss. Starchy. Not my kind of rice. I took two bites and stopped eating the rice.
