"I had heard great things about this pizza place for its use of Barton Springs Mill flour, so I finally got the chance to try it last weekend on our drive back from Marble Falls. The restaurant had a relaxed vibe with plenty of outdoor seating, but since it was a rainy Saturday, we chose to sit indoors. I really enjoyed my pizza, and I was pleased to see that they loaded it with toppings. I ordered the Herbivore, and the pesto was delicious too. The pizza was large and satisfying, easily giving me enough for a second meal. However, I did notice that each server seemed to be playing their own music, resulting in a strange mix of sounds: one playlist from the kitchen, another from the dishwashing area, and a third from the host stand created an odd cacophony."

Our first visit was Sunday and it was great! Really awesome people! Great drink selection! Great pizza! They even gave my son a baby charcuterie plate as soon as we sat down for free!

Excellent pizza with a focus on quality ingredients. The service was great. And the outdoor seating next to the farmers market creates a community feel. Our server told us about upcoming live music and a movie night. They describe their pizza asneapolitan. I think of it as more neopolitan inspired California pizza. After one visit, it is a hill country favorite for me. View menu

Vegetarian options: I rarely eat meat when I have the chance to choose vegetarian. The roasted cauliflower is my favorite dish, and it typically provides more than enough for my daughter to share with a salad. The roasted cauliflower is distinct and clearly shows that the chef put extra effort into preparing it. I'd be happy to eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I highly recommend it. Service: Dine-in.

I went for a drive in the hill country today and chose to stop by Sorellina. It had been way too long since my last visit, and I’m happy to report that it exceeded my expectations! The pizza features an incredibly thin crust, and everything is exceptionally fresh and homemade, aside from the sopressata and pepperoni. The cocktails are inventive, thanks to a fantastic bartending team, and they offer a great selection of local beers. If you’re in the area, definitely make a point to check it out!

One of the best pizzas in town Wife and I moved to Bee Caves a few months ago and we found this great spot through the farmers market we visit on Sunday mornings. We have made this our weekend destination. Staff is very friendly. Drinks are good and the food is even better. AJ has been our server 90% of the time and he’s extremely friendly and very attentive. Great atmosphere if you’re looking to get away from the city and the overrated downtown Austin locations. Spread the word out, this place deserves a lot more recognition.

"New to TX but a long time foodie and Opie's is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I first came to Spicewood in 2021 while looking at property and a local friend recommended Opie's for some genuine BBQ. I was anxious to try since we had already been to a few other recommended BBQ places by other friends. Some good and some not so good but they were all down the road in Austin. For starters, just make sure you are aware although they might have some hours posted, they close when they run out of meat and some days, it seems that happens quite early. When we walked in, you are right at the grill where someone will take your order. The meat is already cooked and they will slice up exactly what you want. After the grill, you can pick up and hot/cold sides you want. Highly recommend the spicy corn. There are traditional sides like potato salad and cole slaw and if by some chance you are still hungry after a full plate of BBQ, they have some hot desserts you can enjoy. This is a pretty no frills place but when I'm going for BBQ, this exactly what I expect. I care far more about the quality of the food than anything else. But they do have plenty of seating and even some flat screens playing whatever sports happen to be on that day. I've been several times and this most recent visit, they had live entertainment which was quite good. I read through some of the other reviews from other patrons and really just don't understand what people are looking for. This is as authentic as it gets and beats most BBQ places I've been to in my short time living in Texas. But just because I'm new to Texas and Texas BBQ doesn't mean I don't know good food. Of course though, I am a little biased because I will be moving to Spicewood around summer 2022 and without question, this will be one of my regular spots! But until that time, I'll get up here as often as I can and when I'm craving BBQ, there is no other place I will go than Opie's. Surely I'll still try any other BBQ place but in Opie's, I know I'm guaranteed great BBQ every time. If you are in Austin or just visiting, you really owe it to yourself to drive up here to check out this amazing place!"
