"I’ve heard such great reviews of Opus 9 that I was expecting the best steak of my life. It wasn’t. 3 of us at the table had the 8 oz filet. They were good but not great. Honestly, a little tough to cut through. I’ve had filets at other high end restaurants that you could cut through like butter. This was not that experience. For a $60 steak I guess I expected more. Had a caprese salad with mealy tomatoes and mozzarella that I am guessing isn’t made fresh. Overall, it’s a beautiful restaurant and the service was good. Food did not live up to the hype. A good steak in Williamsburg but I wouldn’t go much further than that."

"This is a hidden gem tucked inside a small shopping plaza. The décor ambience provide a delightful setting for a wonderful meal. The staff was friendly courteous, The food was delicious. The focus of the menu is seafood but I chose the rack of lamb. I was cooked perfectly, I enjoyed it thoroughly. My colleagues found the scallops halibut topped with crab meat delicious. We shared the cranberry orange bread pudding. It was the perfect ending to our meal I'll return on my next trip to Williamsburg!"

"We booked Berretts for Friday and Saturday nights dinner. We weren’t sure which night would fit our schedule better. We fully intended to cancel one reservation. We dined there on Friday night. The food was so outstanding we went back again in Saturday night! The price is really reasonable for what you get. The portions are huge. The quality is awesome! Service was outstanding. We ate at the taproom Saturday and the sevice wasn’t quite as good but food was still amazing!"

"This is the second time we have dined here. Both times the kitchen was backed up. My husband’s fish was overcooked this time and one of my daughter’s sliders was burnt so she couldn’t eat it. Loved my salad but we likely won’t be back for dinner. We may try during the day maybe."
