"Note: this restaurant has recently changed its own, and there are new temporary signs: “Coco’s.” it is no longer called pono, so are not confused when the signs say “Coco’s”, – they are at the right place. good option for pre-theater at the wallis in beverly hills or ucla or kiln playhouse in westwood — only 15 minutes drive, and a better value than most restaurants in these opposite. free 90-minute parking in the chase bank-lot behind the restaurant. we all had the hamburgers, and all agreed that they were very good — quality, tasteful meat cooked as desired. we also shared a generous side order of sweet potatoes that were a bit soggy but not excessively fat. full bar, but long wait for cocktails, although there was only one other occupied table. open table profile says the restaurant has a “view”, but this view looks at the staus traffic on sunset."

The food was very over seasoned... couldn’t even eat my meal because of it. Our party of 4, everyone had the same issue.

We were walking through Sunset trying to find a good place to hunker down and enjoy a few drinks and perhaps some dinner.

My review is an outlier for this business, but I do think this restaurant needs major improvement and I question the accuracy of the 4.5 star it currently

This is my type of FOOD & DRINKS! The food is outstanding; my wife and I were going to see SPONGE Band at the Whisky A Go-Go, so we swung by for a bite and View menu

Food was great, but it’s not called Pono anymore. It’s an Italian restaurant, which is still very good. The pizzas were fresh and the avocado toast was great.

I recently had one of the best solo dinners I've had in a long time at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I would definitely return again in the future.

Love it, the food was great. Service was ok, We had to call on another tables waiter to get some sauce we needed it was a full house, they ran out of steak and some ingredients so I had to choose another entree but hey the food was tasty View menu

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the decor is great! The hands-on owner provides an exceptional experience; he ensures that all guests have a wonderful time and will want to return. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this establishment!

I was looking for a fun restaurant to celebrate a birthday but had to accommodate a vegetarian, and those who eat gluten-free and dairy-free...not an easy task! Pono was able to accommodate all of us. The food was delicious, the service excellent. A bit pricey but worth it...every bite was wonderful!

"order: cheeseburger and chicken sandwich mcfrowny meals with sprit and koks billy, andrew, louis and other staff were all very friendly and immediately let us know the mcfrowny meal are the most popular. after the order, billy told us the story of herrn charlie and said that one of the co-founders with her family lived in the la dream center when they were homeless and thus return to the la dream center. every McFrowny court bought, returns to the la dream center to feed 7 people. the fries were made with fresh kartoffels and had a beautiful crispy outside area and soft inside, which were lighter and better than mcdonalds fries, and they were perfectly bribed with celalaya salt. the nuggets were perfection, beautiful crispy coating for a beautiful crispy texture and the inner was hot and tasteful. all incubating sauces were good, chipotle had a nice. spicy rim, the grill sauce was sweet and tangig, the green sauce was like a tang green hot sauce without the flavored that tasted on the fryed, and the white sauce reminded me a little of the chipotle. the cheeseburger was made with a thin impossible patty, the grilled crispy rolls with the cheese on it used there were grilled cheese vibes, the tasted great. the chicken sandwich was beautiful, super crispy and hot juicy in the inner. the food was delicious, the staff was warm and friendly, the mission behind the whole restaurant was inspiring, so I bought a hot for me and my friend. will be back when I'm in the opposite."

"Haven't been to Spago since their facelift and I'm so happy some things never change. Spago is still the overall number one restaurant in all of Los Angeles. First, the ambiance: The new look is updated but not overdone and the feeling in the dining room and the garden is still very much warm, cozy and elegant. The Food: Pure perfection from start to finish!! We opted to go with the tasting menu $240 per person) along with some choice wines throughout the meal a full wine pairing is also available). Every single item in the tasting menu ranged from very good to amazing. The fact that this kitchen crew can execute a regular a-la-carte menu, along with a separate tasting menu to such perfection of timing and most importantly look and flavor is quite impressive. Favorites were the Gazpacho, Halibut, and Veal but everything else was absolutely delicious!! The tasting menu is extensive and for most people would be enough but not for us!! So added the ridiculously amazing bread box, a side of what can only be described as the best mashed potatoes you will ever have, and a chocolate soufflé....why you ask...jest because The service: Our server Gerhardt and the Sommelier Devin were superstars, as well as the team around them. Service pace was perfect and the wines recommended by Devin were excellent Gruner Veltliner, Rioja, Riesling). GREAT JOB!!!"
