"Genuinely confused how this store has any repeat business. The drinks were over $8 for a small boba tea, served in plastic cups with lids that caused the tea to explode up out of the straw opening when attempting to shove the boba sized straws into the drink. The tea quality was poor and my first drink was so weak all I could taste was the sugar and milk. The staff were exceptionally kind and offered to remake my drink, but the second result was so strong and bitter that I let most of the ice melt before it was drinkable and didn't upset my stomach. My friend's first drink had spoiled aloe, which the staff again very kindly offered to remake. Both of us returned home with our 2nd drinks not yet consumed; the 1st were tossed in the trash. The store itself is very modern with a clean interior that looks like other boba stores. It has several ice cream and waffle options on the menu. It's central location makes it a convenient place to meet. Seems like the problem might be that no one involved knows good quality boba although I should note that their honey boba was quite decent."

Great place, good flavors ice cream bars. They could have kept more flavors ice cream bars. A bit over price for the quantity but the quality was really good so worth it.

One of my new favorite Boba spots in town. Atmosphere was just perfect and the tea was even better. I wish I could have hung around longer. I need to come back soon and try the diamond pops. View menu

The shop was clean and had a great calming atmosphere. We purchased 2 drinks. The taste was great. However, they needed to be blended a bit more as there were chunks of ice in both smoothies.

The drinks at this restaurant are expensive and excessively sweet. While I have not tried the soda, as someone who enjoys boba tea, I can confidently say that this place serves some of the most overpriced and low-quality boba I have ever had. The restaurant has a charming ambiance, but the drinks are disappointing.

I had a fantastic experience during my recent visit to Pop 'N Tea Bar. The bubble tea menu is both extensive and tasty, offering a variety of unique toppings and customizable options. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff added to the overall enjoyment of my visit. This is the perfect place to indulge in your bubble tea cravings. I am already looking forward to my next visit! Super expensive (more than $8) boba milk tea I've ever had. The milk tea itself is very diluted (probably only 1/3 of what it should be). I would call it milk-tea-flavored ice water with boba.I'm visiting here from bay area, where there are hundreds of boba places and I believe I tried more than half of them, e.g. Sharetea, Teaspoon, TP tea, Wanpo tea, Happy Lemon, Feng Cha, Yifang. The price has gone up after pandemic but more then $6 would already be an expensive one. I would expect the food price in Phoenix to be more reasonable.

I am disappointed to have to revisit my review. Originally, I gave this restaurant five stars but I now have to deduct three stars because my recent visit was unpleasant. It seems like there may be new staff members, leading to a lack of good customer service. Despite being a regular customer who frequents this place often, I had a negative experience yesterday. When my husband and I entered, we were not acknowledged by the gentleman working there. After some time, he finally asked if I had been there before, which was surprising. I ordered my usual passion blossom slush with extra strawberry bursting Boba, but I was disappointed with the amount of Boba in my drink. My husband noticed my dis...

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
