"I swear this is one of the worst places in town to go to. Every time I go here, I have to wait so long for my food because all the workers wanna do in there is just stand around and chit chat while looking like they would rather be anywhere else but there. My last visit, I went inside because the drive thru looked congested (I'll get to that in a second), and it was busy in the lobby so I knew it was going to take a while. To my surprise though, the lobby seemed to clear out fairly quickly after I ordered. 30 minutes later, I am still in the lobby waiting on my food while people all around me and even those who ordered after me, were getting their food. This one girl cleared all orders off the screen for lobby orders and the workers seemed like they are having a break while they were standing around chit chatting. Finally, I go up to the counter and tell the cashier I'm still waiting. After asking what my order was, she had it ready and boxed up in 2 seconds........like why couldn't you do that sooner? Am I invisible or something? Finally, after what seemed like 2 years, I go out to my car and the parking lot is a disaster. There was car in the pull up area and people in the drive thru could not get around because the people who built Popeyes obviously didn't think that through because there is not enough space for people to get through when in drive thru, no matter what vehicle you have so those poor people are just stuck. Then I see people making their own parking spots while blocking people in without having a single care in the world. There was this one black truck who parking at the entrance of the drive thru and was standing outside her truck talking to what looked like her mom with her whole village of kids, not even caring she was in a non parking spot blocking the drive thru. At one point, she moved to let a car get through, only to get back in the non parking spot, blocking the drive thru again and putting the whole parking lot at a standstill because other cars were trying to get in and out. 10 extra minutes it took me to get out. My advice, while the food may be good (so good at times), be VERY cautious when coming to this restaurant. They workers don't seem to care at all and the customers just park wherever they please and don't give a care in the world how they park or who they inconvenience in the process. I absolutely loved it! Everything was excellent. I ordered takeout for dinner, and it was all very affordable, costing around $10–20 per person. The food was outstanding, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was delightful. Five stars across the board!

I visited this Popeyes for the second time, and unfortunately, my experience was no better than the first. The staff, including the manager, were quite rude and displayed a lack of professionalism. There was no sign of customer service skills. To top it off, I was quoted $3.00 for a small cup of ice, which I find outrageous. I won't be returning to this location again. View menu

I visited this restaurant for lunch and found it to be exceptionally clean. The service was quick, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming, with smiles on their faces. We had a charter bus full of high school students who had toured LSU (1-28-25) and on the way back home to NELA they wanted Popeye's, so I called about an hour ahead of time, explained that I had a busload of students, and would be using a Louisiana State Tax-Exempt form. I asked if they could accommodate us and they said yes, come on.
