"The food was delicious and the hands down THE BEST Civeche I had for years! I loved the atmosphere, although it was pretty busy. There are a few things I didn't know when I first got there. There are seating on the roof, but you can't really say it unless you look. It's super neat up there and I would have decided to dine there if I had known. The second thing ~they have a fridge filled with all spices, but again you have to look for it! The homemade chips and diving w guacamole had so great taste until our food arrived. I chose the Cantaloupe al fresco and omg it was So yummy. She had just made it and it was so delicious and refreshing on a hot day! I'd go back to Definat."

One of the most trendy Mexican restaurants in all Oregon and deserves the whole hype of this location. Don?t recommend coming during the rush hour as this place is super busy! Survival is amazing and delicious? View menu

Food is always very fresh, their shrimp taco with pineapple is brilliant - in a single bite you?ll experience the spicy shrimp followed by burst of fresh pineapple. You also have a range of different salads to try.

Excellent service, you wait in order and seats But it is also worth it for a person in a wheelchair like me. Great quality and everything is freshly made with very fresh ingredients. Much more authentic then 85% of the places you go and again the freshness of the ingredients really sells this place!!!!

Por Qué No is great. Some Portlanders may roll their eyes and say it’s overpriced or touristy- don’t listen to them. PQN makes great food, has a fantastic array of menu and drinks options for all dietary needs, and great seating (at both locations). The spicy cucumbers are a refreshing side dish, and the chips are super solid (maybe the best chips and guac in Portland). My suggestion: always make sure to grab some of the escabeche with your meal.

First time here. Not from Oregon, but found this place online. Tacos are really good as well as chips and salsa. They were super busy, but everyone seemed nice. Reminds me a little bit like a fast food restaurant, because you order and pay before you get your food. Probably not a problem for regular customers, but when its your first time it feels a little rushed just because you don't want to hold up the line. Liked everything we ordered though. Would go again if ever in the area.

"Boxcar Pizza does creative all vegan pizza done Detroit style. I am from NY and had plenty of pizza there in the day before I was vegan. Pizza and NY are synonymous. I would love to check out Screamer's Pizza in NY next time I am there.I have only had Detroit Pizza one other time and happened to be vegan. It was alright when I had it then. I have been to Detroit where the talented rapper Eminem is from. Detroit is where the pinball like running back legend Detroit Lion Barry Sanders played. Detroit is where I was in awe when I saw the Diego Rivera murals there. Detroit isn't known for it's pizza yet lately Detroit pizza seems to be getting popular.Detroit Pizza is like a cross between Sicilian and Chicago deep dish yet comes in a square with four slices. Boxcar Pizza was named best vegan pizza this past year in Veg News magazine so had great expectations coming here. Boxcar Pizza delivered! I went with the Viktor Vaughn pizza. The pizza came with mozzarella, cheddar, kale, red onions, ricotta, mama lil's peppers, and pesto. I got it with a side of red sauce for dipping which I recommend. The pizza was very tasty. Plenty of flavor. It was a bit rich and filling for plenty of vegan cheese was used. Perhaps a touch less vegan cheese and other pizza pies with more veggies would be nice. I like that this pizza had plenty of veggies on it. I just got this and was able to eat it all. Each pizza serves one to two depending on your appetite. If you come with a friend or spouse might be good to split one and order a Kale Caesar salad to share.Viktor Vaughn is the real name of Dr. Doom who happens to be the arch enemy of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics. Viktor Vaughn is also a British rapper. There are many different kinds of pizza here and am so happy that a vegan pizza place delivers tasty vegan pizza. I hope they open up branches in other cities.Recommended!"
