"Made reservations for my wife’s birthday, hearing this was the finest restaurant in town. We were seated quickly but not given menus. Restaurant wasn’t super busy but not empty. When the waitress found us after 15 minutes without menus she apologized and brought us some. We ordered drinks for starters and they were great. Than we ordered food and when it arrived she asked if we needed anything… silverware and she was in shock we had none. Idk why she was our waitress the entire time. Anyways potatoes over cooked and to be honest I believe they were reheated. I’m going to be honest the entire plate was absolutely not even worth a star. Go to silver salmon grille best place in town. Ladies are down to earth and very enjoyable Atmosphere even if it didn’t look as fancy. Most people were locals eating and ordering out. So I’m not sure why we were told this place was the best place in town"

"I'd give those 7 stars out of five. Absolutely blown away how phenominal was this food. The most remarkable is the caramelized peach salad with the mango vinagrette clothing, which is an experience to eat. When I decided to order from here, I had difficulty deciding where to eat and what I was in the mood for. Quesadillas seemed a pretty good idea. They are all so unique and well developed in aromas. The best decision I have ever made was to put on Mona Lisa quesadilla, which came with fresh tortilla chips, salsa and a divine pesto-ish diving sauce. The staff was great and friendly. I was a little early to pick up my order after I called it for the cashier, so I had the chance to hang up and look around. The mood was brilliant and I had to hold back from the order of all desserts they had shown."

"This meal was particularly important to me as I was celebrating my 68th birthday, and most other restaurants in Astoria were already full or closing. After we settled in and placed our orders, Paul came out to share that the plant adorning our table was a tribute to his late mother, who had previously run the supper club. The service was exceptional—cheerful and efficient, with each course delivered at just the right time. I enjoyed one of the best steaks I've had in years, accompanied by fresh salads and perfectly steamed vegetables. The dessert and drink menus were colorful and diverse, but I was too full to consider dessert. If you plan to order sides or salads, I recommend sharing a plate with a friend, as the portions are quite generous. Noticing my birthday card, our waitress surprised me with a complimentary cheesecake, a lovely touch. While the prices might seem on the higher side, we left having spent less than $90 on dinner and drinks—a true bargain for such exquisite service and generous portions these days. Overall, it was an absolutely perfect dining experience, definitely worth the drive from Portland."
