Not very busy when I went in Had a good visit with the owner actually found a photo of me on our football team right under my arm that was resting on the bar.

I'm giving it five stars, even though it’s not the kind of place I usually enjoy spending time in. I went there for pub trivia and had a really good experience.

The owner is a very nice guy. As the previous review stated the curds were really tasty. Loved the long spacious bar so we could have a nice chat with the locals. If you are coming through town and looking for a big 1/2 lb burger, this is the place!

Went with a friend, we shared the sampler appetizer and both had burgers. The sampler was typical but the burgers were delightful. The 1/2 burger had a delicious char on the meat. The buns were sweet soft bread (reminiscent of Hawaiian rolls) the provided bbq sauce reminded me of a most loved bourbon burger. As you ate the juices of the burger ran down the corners of your mouth, delicious. We both had the hillsboro beer also delicious. View menu

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The price point of $10–20 per person makes it incredibly affordable for the quality of food served. I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5; every dish was flavorful and expertly prepared. The service was equally impressive, earning another 5/5, as the staff was attentive and friendly throughout my meal. Lastly, the atmosphere was delightful, also deserving of a 5/5 rating. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a wonderful place to enjoy a meal. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant!

The dinner menu offered a great selection, and the food was outstanding, earning a perfect rating. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, creating a perfect setting for a nice evening out. Plus, having free street parking made it easy to visit. I highly recommend this spot for a delicious and enjoyable dinner!

We go to Friday night fish Fry often. Last night was the best. The waitress was so friendly and funny. Max was up so she was alone and had some at the bar and made a great work that took care of us at a table and the bar crowd. She apologized for our delay, but we were in no hurry and she actually did a big job. The fish was excellent. I told her it was the best fish we had there. She said it was a new MAX ****. Max, please use the dough. Yummy. The waitress remembered us and that makes you always welcome and appreciated. Food was excellent, beer was cold and waitress was entertaining.
