"I 've eaten here twice and both times have been very happy. The first time my uncle brought home a variety of salads with both roasted and fried chicken on top. The salads were good. The potato wedges were better. This week I was home sick and needed some good homemade matzo ball chicken soup. I was looking up restaurants and to my surprise, Proposition Chicken had it on their menu! Not only that, but it came with the little yellow croutons that I used to eat at home! What an amazing surprise. The soup was exactly what i needed on a sick and rainy day. There was plenty of delicious chicken inside with carrots scattered throughout. The order was prepared quickly and I had it delivered through DoorDash. All in all, it ended up being the next best thing to having my mom take care of me."

Delicious fried chicken sandwich, served with tasty chips. The food arrived quite quickly, and there were plenty of available tables. The only downside is that the light fixtures could use a good cleaning!

Update: Staff reached out heckin quick leading with offer to see what may be going on with the food and an offer to make up for some touch chewin. Speaks volumes about their customer service, so we will keep going back!

The Chicken Strips are absolutely addictive, and the Kale Salad is my favorite in all of Oakland! The chicken sandwich is also delicious, but just a heads up: the spicy slaw has a bit of heat if you prefer milder flavors. Omg my bro in law picked up dinner for us to eat. We had chicken, salad and cornbread. Everything was good. The chicken has so much flavor and not dry. When you add the chimichurri sauce it takes it up another notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the salad as well. Service was timely and can't speak to ambiance but the food was amazing

Good chicken sandwich and a lot of pleasant surprises from their Brussel sprouts to their matzah ball soup. Definitely order there and not for delivery as their sandwiches have a good amount of oil and slaw. I was chatting with one of the other customers that said the wings were really good too. Definitely gonna have to come back to try some different menu options here.

I placed a pickup order for gluten-free fried chicken strips. While the flavor was good, they were overcooked and dry. The brown sugar Brussels sprouts were a bit unusual; they had too much vinegar and only a hint of brown sugar, which wasn't quite what I anticipated. I think I'll give it another shot and try the regular strips and fries this time. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the special sauce—it was really delicious! Workers are attentive and helpful, I can never remember where the straws are and they help point them out to me every time.Highlights: The matzo ball soup is delicious, and the bone broth in there is well seasoned and nutritious.French fries with malted mayo is a good small bite, and with the chicken wings or tenders it’s a great lunch.Their lemonade is good, and you can ask for an Arnold Palmer if you’re ordering in person.Right now they have a bread pudding dessert that has raisins and cinnamon.
