I absolutely loved the giant creamies! The giant cones were delicious! During my visit from out of town, I made sure to get a creamie every day!

The location is unique in that it's basically a food truck in the forest! Big yummy burger and I especially loved the coleslaw! Probably wouldn't order the chicken tenders again, for me they were a bit overcooked and too salty for my taste Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Burger

Visited after reading the glowing review in Seven Days and all the great reviews here. Both of us thought the burgers and fries were “ok.” Basically if you want something like a basic home cooked dinner, the value of food is very high- big portions at very reasonable/ low prices. Definitely great to support a family place. But I’d rather have a smaller better tasting burger, so we’ll go elsewhere next time. Food: 2 View menu

Came here on a overcast hot and humid afternoon and while the weather the bad the queen bee was quite the opposite. Double cheeseburger was delicious and bigger than expected. Sweet potato fries are some of the best and the service was quick and friendly. Definitely a local joint that just makes great food for a good price. Highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: It's an outdoor venue with some outdoor kids toys and playsets. Not in the best shape but not bad either

"My husband and I had arranged to meet a pizza loving friend, who’d been curious to taste the wood fired offerings. It was a temperate early summer day, but although there were plenty of picnic tables, there was not very much shade available from the umbrellas —plus we’d have to contend with traffic noise from York Road so we opted to eat in the small dark dining room. Our server was friendly and prompt. The covers on the menu binders have cheerful hand drawn inserts by local children, which adds a nice homey touch but in our post Covid age I’ll be happy once QR menus have replaced the sticky plastic ones that make me feel the need to pull out the hand sanitizer. The 3 of us ordered small salads, and the home made Caesar dressing was outstanding. Actually, that dressing was the star of the meal. Our friend ordered the Margherita Pizza and was far from impressed. He said the dough needed salt, there was too much cheese and was done after consuming a single slice of his pie. I tried a slice from his pie, and found it curiously flavorless. My husband was disappointed also in the taste of his Brie, sausage and fig pizza, plus he did not care for the floppy crust. He took home the leftovers and found the dough to be better on the 2nd day, reheated in our convection oven. I’m not a pizza lover, so I checked out the Angus Burgers from Roseda, a local farm. Nothing appealed to me from the 4 signature Griller creations: the Woodfire has BBQ sauce; the Chesapeake is topped with crab dip; the Spicy had peppers and Jalapeno Jack cheese; and the GOAT had goat cheese with bacon and fig jam. Grillers were supposed to be served with french fries. My preference is a blue cheese burger, so I chose the “build my own” option. My customized burger was disappointing at best. I was presented a naked plate with just the burger. To clarify, it wasn’t served with french fries, yet was the same price as the 4 signature burgers. Fine, I can overlook the missing fries, who needs the extra carbs… But the glaring omission was the absence of pickles. I mentioned the missing pickles to our waitress and she said their burgers come with lettuce and tomato. That’s it. A slice of red onion would also be nice, but I didn 't mention that. After I voiced my disappointment on the absent garnish she brought over a saucer with some bread and butter pickles. Can I have found the only restaurant in the country that serves burgers without pickles? Pickles are automatically added to burgers, and dill spears accompany sandwiches. I know this because my husband despises pickles and I’m always happy to receive his on my plate. Anyway, the curious lack of garnishes on my burger detracted from my own experience. 3 diners left disappointed, 3 stars."

"It was very easy to make a reservation and I was impressed with that. We arrived at the restaurant and we waited for about eight minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. When someone did, I was approached as pointed finger ant me and asked , carry out? I said no. Table for two, reservation. The guy then said she’ll be right with you. we were seated in a very small table in the corner and I asked to be moved and she took us to a small table in the bar which I asked again to be in a little bit bigger table and she allowed us to sit there. we ordered our drink. It was fair , then we ordered our food and we waited almost an hour to get our food. When it arrived, the chicken Parmesan the Chicken was burnt. My crabcake was very dark. I wouldn’t say burnt but almost there the garlic in the spinach and I believe carrots was horrible. It just reeked of garlic. Our waitress did not come back and check on us until I asked her for a water. Before we got our food, she walked by me three times and made eye contact and never gave me an answer as to where our food was. I was very disappointed that it was not that busy. the dining room was full, but the bar area had very few people in it maybe six at the bar and maybe a total of 10 sitting around the bar. This was our first experience here and I can tell you we probably won’t be back. I had to go to the hostess station and ask for a carry out box."
