"The only issue we faced was a communication breakdown between the man who took our call and the hostess. As a result, we waited half an hour, which seemed to be the same for others with reservations. Typically, I wouldn’t wait that long, especially on a Friday night between 5:30 and 8. That said, our waitress, Erica A., was absolutely exceptional! The food was some of the best we've had in a long time. The service was prompt, and we never had to ask for a drink refill. It was a bit disappointing that they had run out of some desserts, but the bread pudding was wonderful! We will definitely come back, but next time we will make a reservation."

"The waitstaff was delightful—both knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was good, though we focused on a generous Philly omelet, crispy hash browns (definitely crispy!), and a biscuit (not quite a cat-head, but a bit buttery). I noticed some pancakes being served, and while it might be excessive for one person to have two, those two gentlemen with gray hair certainly gave it a shot without any complaints. I brought my own tea, but I have a feeling that if I had requested sweet iced tea, our server would have happily refilled it. My wife had just finished her latte, so she opted for water. The fruit cup was lovely, and the homemade strawberry jam was a little on the sweet side but still quite delicious."

"I absolutely love the food at morelos, best Mexican restaurant in town, however, the service is awful. I went in today with a friend and we were seated immediately, orders taken and the server seemed very helpful. Everything was going well until we were left at our table for almost an hour, still having not received our food or a single refill. After so long of waiting (it was 3:00pm, not another table in the store) my friend and I started to wonder if they had forgotten about us. There were only three staff members that I could tell, and all three of them were laughing and carrying on, watching videos on their phones and being extremely loud, even using profane language. I locked eyes with my server many times, we were passed by and never given a refill or updated about our food. After being ignored for a very long time, we decided to leave and go some place else. Once I was in my vehicle, only then did a worker give their attention. He came out, put his hand out for me to stop my car, and proceeded to accuse me of not paying my check. I then told him that we never received food, AND he brought it to my attention that our server clocked out and left in the middle of serving us. The communication between staff is terrible if the remaining employees were all under the impression that we had already eaten and were finishing up. Not only that, but I have worked in food service for a very long time. Even if I am cashiering or hosting, if I see someone looks uncomfortable or needs a refill, I will always get it for them. That was not the case today! Not sure if I will be back to dine in, maybe just take out."

"The worst pickup experience ever. I checked into their curbside service and waited for over 30 minutes! They were busy so I figured that might have something to do with it I was wrong. My order was ready BEFORE my pickup time (it’s printed on the recipe). I called the store and was immediately placed on hold for FIVE minutes until I hung up and called back. They said they would look for my order, placed the phone down, and then just hung up. No apologies once they brought the food out. By this time my soups and sandwiches were cold and my tea was incorrect. Safe to say we are never going back."

"I don’t know exactly what I was expecting, but based on the reviews I expected some amazingly good food. It wasokay. Not bad. There wasn’t anything that I absolutely wouldn’t eat, although that curry came close. The egg rolls were mediocre. They had a great texture and initial flavor, and then. . . Bland. Chicken fried rice was okay, though the chicken had a very weird pink dye on it. The curry was very sweet, which was not what I was expecting. We explained to our waitress that we had never eaten Vietnamese food and didn’t know what to expect. She was very friendly and made some recommendations, but didn’t know how to explain the flavors. She couldn’t compare what we were ordering to other foods. She didn’t mention that the curry would be sweet or that the bahn mi would be covered in what is essentially Cole slaw (a food I don’t really care for). Also, the sodas come in cans, so no free refills. I asked for a to-go container for the rest of the curry (I couldn’t stand to eat much of it, but that’s a personal taste issue, I think). She brought me a large to-go cup. Pouring a curry from a bowl to a large cup is quite messy. Overall, I probably wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re a fan of Vietnamese food and know what you’re getting in to. If you’re not, just get the chicken fried rice. You’re probably safe with that."
