We visited for brunch and absolutely adored the ambiance. This place has it all—a bookstore, café, bar, and restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food was straightforward yet delicious. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience!

Raconteur is a decent restaurant with generous portions, but the front-of-house service and hosting leave much to be desired. Their management of reservations and seating groups is quite unacceptable. Not good for families! We won’t be back. This place sucks. Terrible service. 6/7 food orders were cold and then the food for the baby was so hot that it took 15 min to cool off so he could eat. We waited nearly an hour for our food and there was barely anyone in the restaurant. There must be nowhere else to eat nearby. Not sure how it has such high reviews.

I stumbled upon this gem while running around Seward Park! It's a bookstore, café, bar, and restaurant all in one, with outdoor seating—and I honestly thought it was impossible for one place to do all of these things well. I was wrong! They excel at everything they offer. I can't wait to return, grab a book, enjoy a drink, savor some delicious food, and relax outside before winter arrives!
