"Wow! First time at this restaurant and I’m so sad I haven’t tried it earlier! The food was all delicious. Their gyoza, crab rangoon and fried calamari were scrumptious. I had white tuna sashimi and the special roll of the day (black forest roll) the different flavors and textures were such a great concoction. I also admire the fact they didn’t cover it in a heavy layer of tempura, it was the perfect amount. My husband had the pineapple chicken with fried rice and I have to say their fried rice is the best fried rice I’ve had in a long time. Their presentation was such a nice touch on all the dishes and made our experience special. Can’t wait to be back!"

Delivery of some delicious, well-made sashimi and assorted rolls. Everything was perfectly made, and the prices weren 't outrageous. Nothing was fishy. The portions are decent, and they gave plenty of associated item '

The food was excellent! My family and I ordered four different sushi rolls, three entrees, and three large alcoholic drinks, all for a total of $178, which I thought was a fantastic value. Additionally, the atmosphere was wonderful!

In town briefly and was craving sushi. Saw the reviews so I decided to give it a try. I got the spicy roll sushi entree which came with a spicy tuna roll a spicy salmon roll and a spicy yellowtail roll. All rolls tasted almost identical. They all had a very fishy taste in a way I could only describe as like canned tuna fish. Obviously it wasn't that but that's what it tasted like. I also got a vegetable roll which was good, tasted exactly as I expected. The sushi entree came with miso soup. The soup had no flavor. I cannot speak to service since I got takeout. Was very disappointed in the food though.

"This restaurant has been a favorite of my partner since the eighties when it was merely a small Italian grocery store and deli, known for its hot and cold grinders. About twenty years ago, it transitioned into the popular restaurant it is today. Starting with her cucumber martini made with Hendricks Gin, I must say it was the best cucumber martini I've ever had—absolutely perfect in taste, balance, and coldness. (Patrons can also opt for Crop cucumber vodka.) The cocktail menu is impressive. The Cabernet Sauvignon we chose was smooth and paired beautifully with our meal. The Mozzarella Di Casa was particularly noteworthy, featuring a satisfying crunch from the bread and a creamy lemon butter wine sauce, presenting a refreshing twist on the traditional En Carozza version usually served with red sauce. The visual presentation, cut into triangles, was enticing even before the first bite. The soup of the day was a creative take on chicken gumbo, perfect for the chilly February weather; we shared a cup, which was hearty and packed with chicken, chorizo sausage, and vegetables—a bowl of it would make a great meal on its own. The house bread was another highlight, offered in two varieties—one topped with sesame seeds, and the other plain. The lobster ravioli with pink champagne sauce was perfectly dense and incredibly flavorful. My partner remarked that one of his old friends always orders this when they dine together; I can see why, and I was pleased to have leftovers for the next day. D'Amelio's take on Veal Saltimbocca deviates from the traditional Alla Romana style by incorporating Portobello mushrooms, but my partner enjoyed it immensely and had no complaints about this interpretation. The dish also came with mozzarella, and the sautéed spinach she chose as a side was cooked just right, leaving her satisfied with her leftovers as well. We rounded off the meal with two cappuccinos—one with Amaretto and the other with Bailey's—which added a lovely touch to this wonderful culinary experience. They also offer lunch specials, including salads and paninis, for those dining during the day. Additionally, there’s a private event room on the ground floor for larger parties, a separate bar, and two floors of dining options. Buon appetito!"
