This place was a highlight of my entire Texas vacation and one of the reasons I want to come back

A seafood restaurant near Angleton Texas. Fairly expensive for what you get. Grilled whole fish was fairly flavourless and small for the price!!!........ a little disappointed.

We have come here every year for a lot of years. This year we just did take out due to health reasons. Adian was super wonderful and did a great job filling our order. Love the good and service!! View menu

The service was poor, and the food lacked flavor. My server was quite unfriendly, especially compared to the other staff who seemed cheerful and enjoyable to be around. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

The spot to visit in Surfside Beach. Huge variety of hearty seafood. Fun setting and fast to-go. We all loved the stuffed, fried jalapenos, and we each had our pick of snapper preparation. Beach prices, but beach experience. Neat.

This is a great down home, local seafood house. It has been here for years and the food is great. I brought guest from Tulsa and KC who rarely got fresh seafood. We all three had the Paw Paw's special and love it. We would definitely come back when we are in town again. View menu

AMAZING FOOD!! Plenty to share! My husband I split the seafood platter had plenty!!! The service was great! We never had to ask for refills on our drinks. I DEFINITELY would recommend this place if you are wanting fresh seafood! Didn't taste like any of it had been frozen.

You know, I want to like this place more. It was my dad and stepmom 's place and she loves it. The last couple of times I 've been, though, it 's just not good. The latest trip, this week, was bad. My shrimp tasted strongly of chlorine-y city water, as did my wife 's. The gumbo was not gumbo, but a thick soup that tasted like green peppers and I-don 't-know-what. My kid 's Alfredo was mid at best. The bread was good. As for service, we waited a lot. For the server to take our order; for our check; for plates to be cleared; for everything. And for this bad food/bad service experience, we paid over $150 for dinner for four.

A perfectly small and unassuming seafood restaurant, right on the sand at Surfside Beach. You need to start with an order of the fried asparagus topped with shrimp crab in a lemon and chive cream sauce and don't let them take the plate until you've sopped up all of the sauce with the fresh bread. You can order fried fish for your entree, but you're going to wish you had ordered the snapper. My choice for dinner was the Snapper Opelousas, and it was divine. It's a snapper filet blackened and topped with spicy Alfredo sauce with shrimp, crabmeat, and crawfish. You'll think you just snuck into Heaven's kitchen after eating this one!
