YUM!!!! Chose this place because reviews mentioned that the owner was nice and present.. well I’m always one for a mom and Pops type of place. This one did not fail!! Owner was so friendly and helpful! Food was DELICIOUS and fresh! Fried Fish was fresh and cripsy… bagel with lox was fully loaded… pizza was fresh… all around wonderful experience! Best part??? I eat often at Rella Cafe and I’ve never had a bad meal. The man who takes your order is amazing! He is so kind and will help you pick a delicious meal if you don’t know what you want. He talks to you and cares about your experience. Everyone who works at the cafe is wonderful! I can’t say enough good things! Today I had their brand new Hash Brown Avocado Toast and it was out of this world and very filling! Totally worth the price.

I made a private party at Rella Cafe and it was beyond my expectations. Jack was in tune to my needs, the set up was beautiful and the food was plentiful and scrumptious. Service was timely, not rushed at all, and the waitresses were pleasant. We had blintzes and Caesar salad, mushroom barley soup, choice of salmon or fettuccini Alfredo with roasted vegetables, and potatoes. Desert was delicious brownies and ice cream. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you Jack!

Okay luncheonette food. Significant cleanliness and food safety issues behind the counter and inside the kitchen. The buffet is loaded with inedible food. The pizzas are decent and can be shared. I tried to communicate with the owner about some of thefood safety concerns but I was ignored. The owner's NYS food safety course certificate is posted in the restaurant. He must beimmensely more alert and caring about food safety. If he paid attention to the course and if he pays proper attention to hisrestaurant, and if he cared more, he would know what needs to be fixed.
