"I can't even begin to express how disappointing this meal was. I'm frustrated not just because the food was poor, but also because of how much I paid for it. I ordered bourbon chicken with plain fried rice, an egg roll, and crab rangoons. The only item I felt safe eating was the crab rangoons. While the chicken looked enticing at first, when I bit into it, the inside was a troubling yellowish-green and it appeared drenched in oil. I even discovered a piece that looked like a bone. The chicken was so fatty that I couldn't chew half of it. The fried rice was acceptable, but everything else completely ruined my meal. The egg roll was particularly strange; it had a red filling that made me feel uneasy. I'm truly disappointed. Paying $26 for this experience is just unacceptable."

Ordered Sesame Chicken to go, when I got home I was given sweet and sour chicken. Looks like they may be under new management. Also the price has gone up from 8.99 to 11.99 for lunch.The guy at the counter was not very friendly. If you get something to go make sure you check your order! View menu

I had my first experience at the Rice House, and I absolutely loved it! The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. My friend and I shared the two Entrée special, and the portion sizes were just right. I will definitely return whenever I get the opportunity!

The staff seemed disinterested in fulfilling my order, almost as if they were reluctant to cook. They kept suggesting that I turn my order into a combo plate, implying that I was ordering too much, which was incredibly off-putting. Additionally, the restaurant's interior still showed signs of neglect from the post-COVID era, giving it a disorganized appearance that suggested it hadn’t fully recovered.

looked like a good place to eat in cedar falls based on the neat outward appearance. however, the moment we walked into the restaurant, the cashier glared at us. when we ordered, she was quite rude and didn't say thank you or anything at all the whole time. the food looked pretty presentable when it arrived, but my egg roll was COMPLETELY RAW on the inside. still pink. The service was... interesting. Of course, the language barrier made it a bit difficult to understand. The biggest problem I had was that it was like we were half served. The waitress gave us cups on water, but they did not fill them. She wrote down our orders. She didn't come to our table after she got us the food. The food was very delicious. What this fine facility lacks in customer service makes it in excellent food quality. Unfortunately, they can do better, so I decided to give it. Three stars.
