"Roberto's is my favorite spot for Mexican food in Las Vegas. There are several locations around the city, and they all offer the same delicious experience. It’s not a fancy restaurant, but the food is excellent. Most dishes are served plain, but they have a salsa bar where you can adjust the spice level to your liking. Every location I've visited has been clean, and like many places here, they’re open 24 hours! It's definitely a much better option than Taco Bell, so I highly recommend giving it a try. You really can't go wrong with any dish on the menu!"

You can take the girl out of California, but you can't take the California Burrito love out of the girl.

I used to live in the area and this was our go-to spot for cheap Mexican foodNo lie, the area is a bit rough really the plaza itself adds to that.

Just what I needed! Since moving to Vegas, I had heard so much about Roberto's, so I decided to try it out yesterday. I went for the Carne Asada fries, and I received a fantastic recommendation for them. I wasn't let down at all. While it might not have been fine dining, it was definitely delicious, and the portions were generous—exactly what I was looking for at that moment. View menu

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
