"My husband called ahead to let the restaurant know it was my 60th birthday and that we were hosting friends from California. Unfortunately, nothing special was done to acknowledge the occasion. We ordered a dessert, but there was no mention, song, or special presentation. It was a disappointing and uneventful experience, especially after we had talked up the restaurant to our friends."

"Definitely one of the best restaurants in Windsor. A selection of traditional Japanese inspired seafood, pork and noodle dishes to contemporary dishes and mixed drinks. I want to get the Ahi Poke because I like seafood and sashimi. They have a wide selection of beers and cocktails such as mai-tais and hurricanes (there is a melon pineapple colada), they certainly know their pigs, and if you are in the mood for fried food, they have some particularly large shrimps or chicken dishes. The owners (Head Host and Chef) are some of the most hospitable people I met in Northern Colorado- They really seem to enjoy the place where they work and the people they serve. Note that the place at 2 for a few hours for a break between lunch and dinner services"

"Sometimes you just want to walk into a dark bar where the staff knows you and warmly greets you, and the cocktails are perfection. The Windsor Mill Tavern is that place. This is old school service hospitality perfected. We don't go out often, but this is our go-to spot in town. It's a place that makes every date night better. We always sit at the bar, where we get to chat with some of the best bartenders you can find anywhere. For two people who have traveled the world and sometimes struggle to exist in a little town like Windsor, we are grateful that this place exists. It's got a cool-but-casual rustic speakeasy vibe, great food, and do yourself a favor: ORDER THE COLORADO WILDFIRE! Every town should have a place like this."

I love the atmosphere, the selection and everything that comes out of this kitchen.You will feel like family while you’re here.Additionally, I’m gluten free and the options are endless. Pasta, pizza crust and homemade gluten free bread. Flourless chocolate cake for dessert.Come for happy hour, it’s the absolute best in town!You can reserve the back room for events.
