"We've been coming here since it opened. Then, they had operatic singers who waited tables and sang for your birthday or any time. Every so often someone would break a plate and cheers would erupt. They always gave you some crayons to doodle or play games while you waited for the food. There was old Italian 40s and 50s music playing. On each table was a bottle of wine and self served by the honor system, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Before you left, they'd offer you a loaf of bread to take home. I miss those days. We went on Saturday to celebrate my and my daughter in law's birthdays. We arrived at 4:30pm and I requested the little room that used to have a curtain. We were told it was only for 10 people. There were 6 of us and the restaurant was quite empty. She was about to seat us right next to the kitchen, but I asked if we could sit in a quieter spot (since I have a hard time hearing in a noisy place-thus the room request) so we were seated in the middle of the main dining room. Someone put down a plate with oil, vinegar and pepper and immediately left. Then we got bread and they quickly dissapeared. Then I caught her attention and asked for one without the pepper. She brought one with only oil and put it on the table as she quickly passed by. Eventually I caught attention and got the vinegar. I hate pepper and love oil and balsalmic vinegar. Unusual, I know. Lydia arrived to take our order. She was very nice and attentive; a good waitress. I still like the food but I do wish they'd make that pizza they had before covid. It was the closest to back east pizza.. delicious! What a waste of good ovens! I love the parm crusted chick salad, though the bacon and chicken was more well done than usual. So...overall, I like the food. The waitress was great. But I miss the extras that made it special. Now it's just like any other restaurant."

Even with a reservation, we still had to wait 30 minutes before getting seated. Their excuse is that they were short staffed. This should never to a restaurant like macaroni grill. Especially, during Mother’s Day. So disappointing. View menu

Great location and sweet server. The restaurant filled up quickly but seemed to be short on servers. Our server was sweet and very accommodating. Service was a bit slow and the hostess didn’t seem to be able to help. Bathroom was very dirty and maybe due to not enough staff. Overall good dinner and value.

Service was poor. Waited 5 minutes at the hostess station for someone to come and take my name down and when someone finally came she didn’t greet me and just stared at me waiting for me to talk first. She took my party info and we waited a couple of minutes for our table to be ready. Once seated the waitress was attentive and helpful. The food was good.

We always love Macaroni Grill. Haven't been for awhile, and had to ask myself why. No good reason I can think of. I've been eating out less because the prices are getting crazy $32 for a pizza at BJ's?! , but Macaroni Grill seems to be holding the line. Build your own pasta, or whatever it was called, was quite reasonable. I ordered angel hair pasta with shrimp, grilled mushrooms, and some other goodies. We actually ended up walking out! The absolute worst service ever! Had reservations for 6:00. Got seated at 6:20 and the place was empty and now I know why! The hostess was clueless and the place was filthy. Broken couch in the waiting area. Dirty seat in the bar where the hostess tried to seat us? Talked to a customer that had finished his meal who said the worst food ever! Rancid oil and cooked to the consistency of leather! We were seated and left. DO NOT GO THERE!

I made reservations for June 1st-8pm for 12 people, several months ago. So the staff knew our large party was coming. Yet, when we arrived, to an almost empty restaurant, our table was not ready. It was extremely apparent it was under staffed. It took several minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there. Once our order was taken, it took 20 minutes to get the appetizers. The soup was cold. 20 minutes after that our order arrived. One of the dishes was also cold. No one came back to us with water refills, nor did anyone come back to see if we needed anything.
