We decided not to eat in this location. I wanted some German Austrian atmosphere. Unfortunately, the restaurant is dark, the bar area very tight and smelly, plus the patio was absolutely not inviting at all. Other than some Bavarian flags inside the restaurant, there was absolutely no Bavarian Austrian atmosphere at all.

Edit 07/07/24: I came back recently, and my girlfriend and I were really impressed. The food was great, free salad bar is awesome and the bread they give you is delicious. And the ambiance on a Saturday was really fun, we both loved the music. Original Review: I love this style of cuisine and the music as well but I’m not sure this is the right way to execute it.

Tried this place with my wife because it was on our “To Try” list. We went Saturday night and I loved the atmosphere right away. It is VERY German so I loved it! Unfortunately it was obvious they were short staffed so it seemed a bit hectic and service was slow. Vilhelm was amazing tho even though we could tell he was dealing with a lot. We had the best time tonight! . My husband, daughter I had a 6 pm dinner reservation, to enjoy the delicious German buffet listen to some *live* German music. Our server was Yanni, and she was SO sweet and kind! She was awesome and we highly recommend you ask for her! . Drop by Rudi Lechner’s to enjoy a cold, refreshing German beer, or a nice glass of Riesling, with your schnitzel, sausages, sauerkraut, potatoes (and much, much more! goodies, and a yummy apple strudel with hot coffee!

I've never eaten at a German restaurant before so I was excited to try out Rudi Lechner's today and they did not disappoint! Our waitress brought out two types of bread to pair with two different butters and honestly the darker dessert bread didn't need the butter, it was warm and delicious all on its own! I ordered the chicken schnitzel with a side of red cabbage and Austrian potatoes. Everything was seasoned to perfection but I added the gravy on all of it anyway because I'm a gravy girl.
