"Food was excellent! A little pricey, but well worth it. We ordered different entrees so we could share and taste more offerings. Dinner selections higher in price, so we chose the sandwiches instead, but delicious all the same. There was a separate wine/liquor menu, but we did not order. Atmosphere was casual and comfortable, but the food could definitely have been from a higher end establishment. I loved the simple decor throughout using poster-size prints 1874 photos with a comparison of the same actual locations in 2020! I wish I had time to study them all! While there, a customer was obnoxious, was asked to lower his voice, and when he did not, he was asked to leave the restaurant. The owner, who could have passed for a bouncer, handled the situation with calmness and grace, Located in the heart of town among the other shops with street parking. Open until 9 pm. Visited during Bike Week, so additional motorcycle parking was available. Will definitely patronize this establishment again when I visit the Custer, SD area again."

My husband and I had been traveling for a week, and were so happy to find a restaurant that served more than burgers. The service was excellent, the local beer was tasty, and the chicken pot pie was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant for a step up from the usual bar/grill. View menu

We enjoyed the Elk Bolognese and Grouper, both of which were outstanding. The Elk stuffed mushrooms were particularly delightful. Our server was fantastic; she balanced her visits to our table perfectly, which is an art in itself. The atmosphere was lovely, with music playing softly in the background. I highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful dining experience.

Greetings everyone! My husband and I had a PHENOMENAL experience tonight at the Sage Creek Grill in Custer South Dakota. This eatery absolutely qualifies as fine dining in a comfortable casual atmosphere. If I could give this GEM of a restaurant 10 stars I would. The food was as delicious as the food we have had in our hometown of New York City! From the welcoming atmosphere, immaculate dining area , relaxing vibe and MICHELIN level cuisine, this place is a total “ home run!” Our server, Honesty, was an attentive, genuinely friendly and polite young lady. What a pleasurable evening !
